THREAD: Things @JoeBiden wants to hide by fear-mongering that the @HouseGOP debt-ceiling plan to #LimitSaveGrow will “cut” veteran benefits & meals on wheels… A) the only ones talking about cutting veterans are Joe Biden & Democrats - we simple set a total spending cap… (1/9)

…and B) we capped it at $1.471 trillion, the TOTAL spending number we were using literally less than 5 months ago, which allows Congress to choose how to spend it! e.g. if we keep defense at current level, we can fund the the remaining bureaucracy at pre-COVID levels… (2/9)

… and/or allows C) the same amount as that MAGA extremist Barack Obama’s last budget level for this year! Moreover, D) @joebien doesn’t want you to focus on all the ridiculous waste and woke / weaponized spending we could cut… (3/9)

…such as over $100 million for the World Health Organization that sides with China over the U.S.? Or, $16,000 for a Colombian pro-prostitution LGBTQ group? Or $50,000 for India to counter “stigma” for the trans community? Or, $3.5 billion for a new FBI headquarters…? (4/9)

…Or, over $10 billion for the EPA - which enforced federal environmental laws against a 77 year-old on remote property for building ponds on his land, putting him in jail… Or, spending time studying ending the use of “sir” & “ma’am” in the Marine Corps… (5/9)…

…Or, the massive inflation taxing American families, or the spiking (delayed for political reasons) interest rates causing a banking crisis… Or the dramatic reduction in our strategic petroleum reserve to try to buy votes in an election… (6/9)

…Or, the $1.2 trillion (according to Goldman Sachs) in massive subsidies for corporate cronies and China to get enriched in the name of batteries, solar panels and wind farms while China builds nuclear and coal plants… (7/9)

…Or, $550 BB in unfair student loan bailouts picking winners and losers to the detriment of working class Americans… Or, hiring $80 BB worth of IRS staff who audit the poor minorities 3x more often… Or continuing billions in welfare payments without work requirements. (8/9)…
