His horrific story is explained here: it all started with a 'severe cold' 3 weeks ago: which apparently resolved after a week...however, virus had already spread to the eyes and infected them: Image
It just got worse and worse and to the point where his eyes were swollen shut as the virus continued to replicate in the eyes: which contain high levels of ACE2 receptors that the virus uses to attach and replicate in: Image
His eyes were so swollen they started bleeding: in the end after weeks of this he went to the ER where:

'they basically had to rip them out of my face' Image

The problem is it's a false economy: because if you're sending kids into a school that infects them every few months, that's not a good investment in the kid's future: and is going to be destroy future opportunities: need to be healthy to maximise wealth and oppourtunity
In ten years time the kids who are now 10 will be 20: many of them have already been infected 4-5 or more times over: and so another 10 years? and that's when they'll be heading into making their own way in the world...not a great start to put it lightly
Schools, just like businesses, should be working for custom ultimately and that means ensuring that the environment is safe for all: and if they can't provide that they should be made to work to do that, or alternatives that are safe should be used instead
