US Govt-funded religious watchdog USCIRF is to  publish a report TODAY & will likely designate India CPC. Again!

USCIRF, an evangelical flavour org, is infiltrated by Islamists – so much so that now an active member of Muslim Brotherhood joins as Commissioner!

#USCIRF has hired Mohamed Magid, former head of Muslim Brotherhood-affiliated Islamic Society of North America (ISNA) as Commissioner in Aug’22. He has served as VP & President of ISNA between 2010-14 and still attends ISNA events!

ISNA has proven terror connections, including with Hamas which the front has admitted itself! Its name was also implicated in the Holy Land Foundation case of terror funding. HLF was banned by the US govt for its ties with Hamas

ISNA Canada's license was cancelled because it was funding the charitable wing of Jamaat-e-Islami & for possible funding to Pak-backed terror group in #Kashmir like Hizbul Mujahideen!

Now an ISNA member will decide religious freedom in other countries, including India!

#Magid is not the first Islamist infiltration in USCIRF. Former USCIRF Commissioner, Pakistani origin Khizr Khan (Aug 2021- May 2022) was also accused of being an MB agent. While he denied the accusations, he has also been a regular face at ISNA events.

Islamist infiltration of USCIRF began at least in 2013–when Jamaat/MB nexus realized power of lobbying (read $). First ‘Indian’ American Muslim Council(IAMC) hired lobby firm in 2013– FGR– whose head Terry Allen had worked with Nadine Maenza, former USCIRF Chair(2018-22)!

The result:

USCIRF changed India’s map from the next report of 2014 – removing part of Kashmir from India!

The money to lobby was collected in the name of helping Rohingya Muslims.

The lobbying was then taken over by another Jamaat/MB front – Justice for All (JFA), an umbrella Islamist front. JFA’s Burma Task Force used the same lobbying group in 2018-20.

Result: India was designated as a CPC in 2020.

Since 2018 USCIRF members - Nadine Maenza & Anurima Bhargava have been appearing with the Islamist fronts, attending congressional briefings & panel discussions under the garb of #HumanRights violations  & ‘concerns’ for the persecution of minorities.

New commissioners: Stephen Schneck & David Curry are often seen at events of Islamist fronts.Curry attended a congressional briefing with IAMC’s Ajit Sahi to speak on why India should be blacklisted!

There is more to it

USCIRF is mocking the Govt of India’s rules. As its members are denied permits to visit, they travel to India on academic pretexts-just before joining USCIRF!

The case of USCIRF’s current policy analyst, Pak- American Sema G Hasan is classic example!

She visited India in 2021 & next year is appointed to USCIRF–to write report on India.

Earlier, Harrison Akins, USCIRF’s Policy Analyst visited India in 2016, and later joined USCIRF–to write report on India!

There is this interesting commonality between Hasan and Akins. Both Policy Analysts traveled to India under the same US Govt’s ‘Critical Language Scholarship’ to study Urdu, both to the same institute in Lucknow (UP). Akins in 2016, Hasan in 2021!

In other words, USCIRF is likely designating its Policy Analysts for India, sending them to India bypassing the Indian govt's stipulation on USCIRF; and once they return, ‘officially’ inducting them into USCIRF – whence they write a report blacklisting India.

Since Islamist nexus is exposed & some ‘harbingers’ have started on ‘Christian persecution’.Expect some return to this theme. Also, ample coverage on Dalit issue on which global narrative building is into play in recent months as noted
