BREAKING: SCOTUS agrees to take up a case calling for an end to Chevron deference — a longstanding SCOTUS rule for reviewing, and often deferring to, agency actions. The case is Loper Bright Enterprises v. Raimondo. Justice Jackson recused herself from consideration of the case.

JUST IN: Glossip's lawyer issued the following statement, calling on Gov. Stitt to grant a further reprieve because "the execution of an innocent man would be an irreversible injustice."

The Republican AG's statement said he was disappointed in the board's vote, adding, "I believe it would be a grave injustice to execute an individual whose trial conviction was beset by a litany of errors."
