In March 2021, a 26-year-old woman from Shamli came in contact with a police constable, Imran Mirza, on Facebook. Imran, who is currently posted in Pilibhit, allegedly told the woman that he wanted to marry her. However, he took her to different hotels and raped her.
Recently, Imran kept the woman in confinement in a rented flat in his hometown of Shamli for a couple of months. During this time, his elder brother, Furqan, joined him in abusing the woman.
The woman alleges that she became pregnant twice during this time and was forced to undergo abortions by Imran both times. After enduring this abuse for two years, the woman decided to confront Imran. However, she was brutally beaten up, prompting her to take legal action.
Both Imran and Furqan have been booked for allegedly gangraping the woman after keeping her in confinement for days. The woman has also reported receiving death threats from the brothers to withdraw the case.

For those who don't know about it. The ROCHDALE CHILD SEX ABUSE ring was a grooming gang(mostly British-Pakistani origin) that operated in Rochdale, Greater Manchester, England, from 2008 until 2009.
The charges are part of Greater Manchester Police's Operation Lytton, which is investigating historical sex offenses against children. Nine of the men are charged with rape of an underage girl, with other charges including trafficking persons into the UK for sexual exploitation.

According to the child’s mother, she left her daughter at home while she went to book a train ticket, but when she returned, her daughter was missing. She went to the upper floor of the house and allegedly saw the accused raping her daughter.
