Helios Exchange is a community-oriented & permissionless ve(3,3) liquidity market on Arbitrum.

It is an AMM for protocols on #Arbitrum designed to encourage liquidity sensibly for its specific use cases.

Helios Exchange was created to modify the limitations/shortcomings of Solidly (dev. by Andre Cronje)

Improvements in Helios include:

Due to the fact that Helios represents the combination of two Defi concepts: Vote-Escrow & (3,3) game theory

Liquidity providers receive $HELI emissions. While VeHELI holders receive Fees, Bribes, Rebase, and governance power.

Helios Exchange uses two types of tokens to manage its utility and governance:

Name: Heli Token
Protocol utility token (ERC-20)
Symbol: $HELI
Allocation: 1,000,000,000

Name: veHELI
Governance token as an NFT (ERC-721)
Symbol: veHELI
Network: Arbitrum

veHELI holders can vote for weekly Gauges & receive 100% of trading fees and bribes from the pool they have voted for.Other features include

🔸REWARDS

Helios offers four types of rewards, including Emissions, Fees, Bribes, and Rebase.

Emissions are distributed to LPs, and the amount of HELI distributed per pool is proportional to the number of votes received from voters in that pool for each Epoch.

Fees are the trading fees collected from the liquidity pool, and 100% of the fees are distributed to the voters who vote for that pool.

Bribes can be offered by anyone outside of the pool, and 100% of the reward is distributed to the voters who vote for that pool.

Rebase is the veHELI token distributed to veHELI holders to reduce the dilution of voting rights.

Helios uses 2 pool types which are

Variable Pools are designed for assets with high price volatility. These pools use a standard AMM formula.

Stable Pools are designed for assets with little to no volatility.

LEVERAGE TRADING

Helios allows for trading futures contracts with leverage up to 50x, enabling Long|Short trading with leverage ranging from 10x-50x
