8 Ashta Lakshmi: The eight forms of maa Mahalakshmi 🪷

Maa Mahalakshmi bestows specific types of wealth through eight unique forms, known collectively as Ashta Lakshmi.

1) Sri Adi Lakshmi :
Symbol of origination . She is seen with 4 arms, Lotus & white flag in her 2 hands, other 2 hands with Abhaya mudra & Varada mudra.

मंत्र - ॐ श्रीं !!

2) Sri Dhana Lakshmi:
Symbol of wealth and prosperity.
She grants material wealth. Also dhan also includes rain, mountain, forest etc therfore every resources in abundance

मंत्र - ॐ श्रीं क्लीं।।

3) Sri Dhanya Lakshmi :
Symbol of strength and patience.
She bestows with good harvest & grains.

मंत्र - ॐ श्रीं ह्रीं क्लीं।।

4) Gaja Lakshmi :
Symbol of health and strength.
She is believed to have returned the lost wealth of Indra from the ocean.

मंत्र - ॐ श्रीं ह्रीं क्लीं।।

5) Sri Santana(संतान) Lakshmi :
Symbol of family and children.
She blesses childless couples with children. Devi is seen with 6 hands carrying two kalasha, sword, shield & a child in her lap who is carrying a lotus in his hand.

मंत्र - ॐ ह्रीं श्रीं क्लीं।।

6) Sri Veera Lakshmi :
Symbol of Valor and Courage.
Also called Dhairya Lakshmi is One who blesses the possessor with the strength to face problems in life.

मंत्र - ॐ श्रीं श्रीं!!

7) Sri Vidya Lakshmi :
Symbol of wisdom & intelligence.
Devi who bless with abundant knowledge, possession of all kinds of knowledge & skills.

मंत्र - ॐ ऐं ॐ।।

8) Sri Vijaya Lakshmi:
Symbol of success and Victory.
Devi who provides victory from all problems one face in life.

मंत्र - ॐ क्लीं ॐ।।

8 forms of Lakshmi ji are the foundation stone of life. In these eight forms, she is associated with 8 different classes of life.
