Hahahaha of course the Elizabeth Holmes hagiography was written by Amy Chozick, the source of so much awful, obsessive Clinton coverage (much of which probably helped swing the 2016 election). A lot of falling upward in legacy journalism.

Will never get over how completely irresponsibly the media behaved in 2016 & how they not only never did any sort of introspection ("maybe we shouldn't have made the #1 issue some emails process story") but then took from it that they had to do even MORE favorable Trump coverage.

Went over to Glenn's feed to see if he had any spin for the latest White Supremacist mass shooter and of course....silence.

For some odd reason, the only recent shooter he's even mentioned is Nashville. He's really, really fixated on that one for some odd reason.
Very conspicuous, but not surprising...I say as I hyper focus on one shooting because the person may have been trans and ignore every other one that is inconvenient to my ideology. Image
Before that, the last mass shooter he commented on was the Colorado Springs gay club shooting. Where his only concern was that Libs were smearing his (GOP) friends by saying that their anti gay rhetoric may have contributed to some guy shooting up a gay club. Image

The Neera Tanden hate On Here has always been so comical. The majority of it comes from the hyper-online Left, who hated her because she gave back a tiny fraction of the shit they gave Dems. And anyone pushing back on their bad faith BS is immediately 'toxic' or whatever.
Fundamentally, the Online Left just believed they should be free to smear the Dems without any sort of resistance or pushback from Libs.
I repeatedly asked people to give me examples of her 'mean tweets' or 'attacking left' behavior & no one could really come up with anything aside from the Bruenig thing, which...I think we can see who was vindicated by the passage of time there (Also, Bruenig just outright lied). Image

Love to use the 'working class' to justify killing a mentally ill guy.

The only time these people pretend to care about the 'working class' is when it's something like this or to excuse some blatant racism.
I, a working class person, rode the NYC subway last week. There was a guy asking for money that seemed mentally ill. I simply avoided eye contact, rather than attempt to kill him.
Also, I've noticed the new 'hot' RW thing is to use Asians to excuse all their shitty takes (and racism). 'Oh, well you think I'm being a shitty, racist asshole? Well, what about Asian people? Doesn't sound so racist now, does it?"

Barely a year ago she ran, in a blue district on codifying Roe and now this. Last time she was in congress, she shared her own story about getting an abortion.

Legitimately the worst political bait-and-switch, betrayal that I can remember in my lifetime.
