🧵 1) Harper Signed the FIPA deal with China in 2014, it Does Not Expire until 31 years late in 2045. It was signed on Russia soil, in secrecy and binds Canada to give China preferential treatment
It was never passed in Parliament, it was never told to the public.
2) It allows China to play without rules, negotiate compensation for damages for anything behind closed doors in a secret tribunal and the Cdn public will never know what was negotiated.
3) FIPA allows China to sue the Canadian government at all levels for anything they feel interferes with their profits. That means: federal, provincial and municipal governments of Canada.
