We are however concerned about the protest action in the area which will further exarcebate the situation as we may not be able to send teams into the area to attend to the
outages.
While we understand and appreciate the sheer frustration and inconvenience caused, it is unfortunate that residents have opted to embark on a protest action, which will worsen and lengthen the duration of the outage.
Team is currently on site in Craighall, attending to an outage that was triggered by a blown switch. They are in the process sourcing material for repairs. ETR will be communicated once materials are delivered on site.
we are aware that outages from the Parkhurst Substation and Industria Substation have have not yet been attended due to overstretched resources. As soon as the teams finalise restoring supply in Roosevelt and Craighall, they will move to Parkhurst and Industria - respectively.
The outages in Roosevelt and Craighall have been ongoing since Monday. We appeal for patience from customers in Parkview, Greenside East, Westcliff, Parkwood and Bosmont from Industria Substation side - for the unfortunate delays.
#AlexandraSubstation affecting #East Bank has been restored, but one load center remains off. The Mini Substation is affecting Chariots of Fire Street. The Mini Sub has been ordered, and the contractor was not able to collect all the materials for repairs.
#Alexandra Substation Jabulani Crescent Distributor tripped due to to a cable fault. The test branch was not able to locate the fault.

#Alexandra Substation Bush Buck Distributor tripped affecting #Far East Bank, West Bank, Stjwetla and surrounds. Our resources are on site locating the fault.

Golddev Switching Station: Four of five distributors have been fully restored, the team will resume work this morning. The team could not continue work last night due to visibility issues. Areas affected: parts of Freedom Park and Devland.
Lunar Substation: Operators have been dispatched to investigate a suspected outage in Magson Manor.
Nirvana Substation: 50% of Lenasia ext. 13 is off, the team will be onsite this morning to resume jointing and then start with the restoration process.
