1/ Mohammed Zaanoun, a prominent Gaza photography propagandist, drives round in a UN vehicle oh his way to stage the usual Pallywood photos of Gaza suffering for the adoring foreign press. #TheGazaYouDontSee vt.tiktok.com/ZS8oMerSo/
Palestine Palestinians
2/ You've probably seen his staged tear jerkers. He doesn't have to scramble for a living shooting baby gender reveals, luxury restaurant openings, or opulent weddings, like his colleagues in Gaza. He makes much more money and gets to drive in an untouchable vehicle.
3/ You may notice that he is outside the luxurious new Phoenix Hotel on Gaza sea front, but you'll never see the interior of that hotel in any of his photos.
It's official. Mahmoud Abbas' Fatah that controls #PalestinianAuthority, is behind new terror org in Nablus "Lion's Den". They have claimed Lion's Den leader, Tamer Kilani, killed last night, as one of their own, and have announced a day of mourning. #PalestinianTerrorism
This is an old PLO/Fatah tactic. Tell the world you support peace and are fighting the violent elements, while simultaneously founding, arming and supporting terror cells. It dates back to Munich Olympics massacre days and was central to Arafat's Terror War in the early 2000's
2/ This is the home of terrorist Mustafa Ramadan of #Hamas, who kidnapped IDF soldier Alon Caravani in September 1992 and slit his throat. Not a nice family.
Caravani survived the attack, btw, but Hamas still boasts that he didn't, on their Hebrew site. he.alqassam.ps/battles/detail…
3/ #Hamas opponents are scoffing that even their own "heroes" are not safe from them.
1/ Did you know there was a blood libel in Jerusalem in 1847?
In March 1847 a Greek pilgrim boy attacked a Jewish boy. The Jewish boy threw a stone at him in self- defense, which injured the Christian boy's ankle.
2/ Soon a riot broke out and the Greek priests of the monastery demanded revenge on the Jews for stabbing an innocent Christian child with a knife to use his blood to bake matzah for Passover.
3/ The parties were brought to trial and the hearing was at first canceled, but 3 days later the Greeks claimed that the wound condition had worsened, and that according to their ancient books, the Jews adhered to the custom of using blood.
1/ Did you know that, until recently, Muslim worshippers at the Great Omari Mosque of #Gaza were prostrating under an ancient relief with Jewish religious symbols - menorah, lulav, etrog and shofar, and the inscription of the name Hananya ben Yaacov in Hebrew and Greek?
2/ The relief was placed at the top tier of one of the building's pillars by the Byzantines, the original builders of what was a church before the Muslim invasion. The Byzantines apparently pillaged it from the nearby synagogue.
3/ The relief was noticed by French archaeologist Charles Clermont-Ganneau in 1873. It was destroyed by Palestinians some time between 1973 and 1996. They obviously weren't happy about this inconvenient undeniable evidence of pre-Islamic Jewish presence in #Gaza.
1/ Reading about the 19th century Land of Israel from reports of various Western travellers, visitors, and part time residents, has taught me that little of Palestinian costume folklore is traditional and authentic, as depicted here in James Neil's colorful 1913 book.
2/ Few people who have not delved into the subject know, for instance, that there is nothing traditional about the famous black and white "Palestinian" Kaffiyeh, which was imported from Iraq in the 1930's, as a revolutionary symbol.
3/ Likewise, I have never seen evidence, in the reports of travellers, of the "traditional" black Palestinian dress with red embroidery, such a symbol of Palestional nationalism. I've written before about the full covering affluent women wore, seen here in a wedding procession.
1/ #Hamas prevents Gazan from donating bone marrow to his sister!
Several weeks ago, a #Gaza man was meant to enter Israel to donate bone marrow to his sister, a leukemia patient treated at Hadassah Ein Kerem Hospital, Jerusalem, but Hamas prevented him from entering Israel.
2/ So the doctors agreed to come to the #Gaza border and do the procedure there, even preparing a suitable facility. #Hamas refuses to allow the man to donate the bone marrow on the border. #TheGazaYouDontSeem.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid…
