Why I Joined #NAFO and became a #Fella

So, first, what is #NAFOfellas? The Fellas are an online army of brain damaged cartoon dogs (sic). Their mission? Fighting russian disinformation. It's a grass roots movement founded by @Kama_Kamilia during the early months of the war. NAFO has been growing eversince. 2/8

So why did I join #NAFO?

I'm a disabled person confined to my bedroom so, in real life, there's no much I can do. As you can imagine, this is quite depressing. Joining @Official_NAFO has changed that profoundly. 3/8

I make donations via @saintjavelin, every three months I buy tshirts there. It's not much, but it's all I can muster. There are no small donations, our strength lies in numbers.
Online, I help with "bonking": drowning russian disinfo in a shitload of memes. 4/8

#NAFOfellas has given me purpose and a sense of belonging. Apart from the good work they do, NAFO is a warm community of good hearted people from all over the world who support not only Ukraine but also each other. 5/8

#NAFO uses humor and memes, of superior quality, to fight russian disinformation. It's nice to smile once in a while in the face of the horrifying atrocities commited by the russians. In a way, it helps to alleviate the trauma of war. 6/8

Lastly, but maybe the most important part: as a #nafofella I can show my support for the people in Ukraine, both financially and morally. We are out here, many of us, and we are with you, whatever it takes. #UkraineWillWin. 7/8

Thanks everyone for sharing!!!! It's overwelming. One thing I want to add: if you feel tired of bonking, take some rest. Other will fill the bonk void. We are many! Take care of yourselves! Like: I'm off to bed now (lol haha, who am I kidding 😉) 🫶🫶
