📌 Comparison of DHA and Civilian Housing societies in #Pakistan
There has been incessant propaganda with respect to #DHA circulating on social media. This thread examines the #DHA related propaganda with credible stats. 👇
1. DHA (Defence Housing Authority) covers 0.113 Mn acres in 8 cities of Pakistan, including Rawalpindi/Islamabad, Lahore, Peshawar, Gwadar, Multan, Bahawalpur, Quetta, and Karachi. It also extends to relatively remote cities like Quetta, Bahawalpur, and Gwadar.
2. In contrast, there are approximately 8758 legal/registered housing societies (excluding DHA) in Pakistan, covering an estimated total area of 1.935 Mn acres. This figure is calculated based on a minimum covered area of 200 acres per society.
3.DHA covers only 5.83% of the total area covered by all housing societies in Pakistan. Civilian societies like Bahria and Gulberg are primarily concentrated in profitable areas like Karachi, Islamabad, and Lahore.
4. DHA properties and land are owned by residents, with 97% of them being civilians. Additionally, 80% of DHA employees are civilians, highlighting the civilian involvement in DHA operations.
5. DHA is entirely self-sustainable and does not rely on Defense or National Budgets. Revenue generated from plot sales, service charges, and development charges covers all facilitation, maintenance, security, and infrastructure development.
Even the construction companies in DHA are civilian-owned.
6. DHA has earned the trust of people in Pakistan by providing state-of-the-art civic facilities, a secure living environment, and secure investment opportunities. DHA's reputation is bolstered by its commitment to combating land grabbers and fraudulent activities.
7. In the fiscal year 2021/22, DHAs contributed approximately Rs. 12,595 million in taxation to the Government of Pakistan, highlighting their substantial financial contribution to the country's economy.

In this thread, we'll explore the reasons behind the establishment & dispersal of #Army#cantts throughout the country.
1. #India has long desired to target Pakistan's strategically located cantonments, which are critical for the country's defense. However, due to Pakistan's well-planned cantonments, Indian attempts of harming Pakistan were stopped in their tracks.
2. Now, the social media negativity is being used to peddal the age-old Indian desire of shaking this stalemate, albeit using PTI social media machine. Old wine in New packaging.
Putting the Facts on Record - Hamid Mir talk on Gen Bajwa and Kashmir
1. Indian false flag in the garb of Pulwama in 2019 was befittingly responded by the full might of the armed forces of Pakistan on 27 Feb.
Operational preparedness, Professional prowess and resolve of the AFs were proven that day beyond any doubt wherein AFs resolutely defeated the Indian aggression and proved its professional capabilities and resolve infront of whole world.
2. Post 5 August 2019 Indian action of revocation of special status of IIOJK, Pakistan and its security establishment yet again responded in a very timely and prompt manner, albeit in domains other than military.
Another political stunt by #BJP - In a dubious attempt to divert media attention from the internal chaos that engulfs India - India media, in alliance with BJP, deceitfully turned an incident of a natural calamity into a terrorists attack.
According to initial credible media reports, and as declared by @rajnathsingh himself, 5 Indian soldiers had died after a truck caught fire due to lightning strike in #PoonchDistrict, #IIOJK. However, the incident is, now, being painted as a Terrorist attack.
Such political stratgems by Modi's govt are meant to gain relevance & divert attention from the serious issues concerning India: governance issues, stagflation, unrest in Punjab, secession referendum in Manipur, and furthermore, #Pakistan's decision to participate in SCO moot.
📌A martial coup is a temporary rule by military authorities in a designated area when civil authorities are unable to function. As a result, civil rights are usually suspended, and summary justice or military law is extended to the civilian population.
📌Judicial Coup, although it finds its roots in the US civil war, in contemporary times, is quite prominent in Pakistan. It allows the judiciary to hijack the political process in an attempt to take over the executive functions of the national government.
