#HB900 must pass without amendments out of the #TexasSenate and go to the Governor's desk. The senators have the responsibility to get this bill to the governor AS-IS!!! Call Dan Patrick and tell him TX Parents need this bill passed w/o amendments [phone]

Please let your senator and @DanPatrick @LtGovTX know that #SB13 codifies awful TASB and ALA policy into law...it must die...and not be added to #HB900 in any manner. We do not want #HB900 to be killed in the House. It will be on @DanPatrick and the Senate this bill fails.

The #TxSenate can pass #HB900 out of the Senate as is with no amendments and get it signed by the Governor. No games. No blaming the House when the Senate adds bad amendments.

There was an email sent out by @AngelaPaxton that really disgraces her as a politician. She said HB900 is at risk bc activists are barraging senators with "intimidation tactics", treating senators as if they are the enemy. She said they have the votes to pass HB900 out unless...

...activist continue to treat senators as if they are the enemy. I know I made calls and several friends of MRTX did as well and we were polite and expect the Senate to pass this good bill out to protect TX kids and do so in good faith.

It is tragic that a Senator in TX, esp a Republican, would issue a threat to not act in the best interest of Texas children because she is not happy that some activists expressed concerns and unhappiness with possible amendments that will kill the bill...

Apparently, SB13 languished in committee b/c it is a sucky bill that codifies ALA/TASB (woke anti-parent child groomers) policy into law. @DanPatrick supposedly really wants this amendment b/c he wants "his priorities" passed. We need to put children first and giant egos last.

Call your senator and tell them to pass #HB900 with no amendments out of the Senate, we know they are perfectly able to do it, this is a good bill that Rep Patterson worked hard on.

We are tired of games in the #txlege. It is perfectly reasonable for conservative activists to be upset at this late date when a good piece of legislation is lingering b/c of egos. #ProtectTXKids #ThemBeforeUs

MRTX has the email and will post a screenshot in the thread. We know the #txlege plays games and puts the interests of Texans last. But this is a bigger disgrace to learn about b/c we are talking about children.

This is unacceptable and if this bill is not passed clean out of the Senate to the Governor then it is time to throw both Senator Paxton and Lt Gov. Dan Patrick a retirement party. #DontMessWithTexasKids
