2/ is being dismantled for millions in Red States. As a New Yorker, I can tell you Blue States are not safe either. Whining about "both sides" media bullshit or their corruption is not gonna save us. Unless a modern Fairness Doctrine is enacted, that's not gonna change. (Cont)

3/ Indeed, it's bitterly ironic that on a weekend, we honor those who sacrificed their lives for our freedom, autonomy of women over their own bodies or a POC's right to even vote is under assault. And "only" 78 years after black Americans that defended us against Hitler (Cont)

4/ returned to a segregated America. It's easy to just blame Democrats hand wringing or tactical rope a dopes, for our not being on offense. And to be sure, I nodded my head in agreement of criticism during the current fiscal default assinity. I also concede that on (Cont)

5/ tactics I've underestimated Joe Biden more than once. I suspect Biden on substance will achieve a tactical victory against a weak Speaker when the dust clears. But strategically, our center of political gravity is still being defined by homicidal assclowns. Biden is a (Cont)

6/ good man who views the bully pulpit as something not to be abused or over exposed. He's a traditional POTUS as his adversaries wage guerilla war and @SpeakerMcCarthy is merely their puppet. There are good DC Dems who get what's going but the real resistance leaders are (Cont)

7/ local such as the Tennessee Three, younger activists and each of us. It's up to us to redefine the center of political gravity ourselves by engaging with apathetic friends, family, and neighbors. Good news is WE ARE THE REAL MAJORITY. We just need to wake it up and we (Cont)

8/ don't need a titular iconic leader or TV talking head to get it done. Foundation of any thriving democracy is regular people like us seizing the moment. Barack Obama himself has often preached this ethos. And if we do our part with marches, protests or simply engaging (Cont)

9/ other regular people like us a critical mass is achievable. And Joe Biden will be able to finish the fine job he started.
