So far the long & the short of it has been to sanitise, whitewash, prettify invasions, invaders & colonialism.

For that to flourish a gradual, deliberate almost shameful erasure of our civilisational history has been necessary.

To keep us meek, ignorant, bogged down with inferiority we were taught everyone down the ages came to civilise, reform & teach us cuisine, art, architecture, poetry, literature, statecraft & science.

Anybody with half a brain could have told you that this was bound to fail sooner than later because it rests solely on the assumption that an entire people could be kept chained to the belief of perpetual inadequacy & hence gratefulness - thus

forever be willing to make themselves inconspicuous, lie low, even cower.

Well, the moment is here for us to grasp & make it our own! A day whose time has come, not a moment too late!

In our 75th year of Independence from foreign rule an institution & symbol of democracy has been visualised & built to commemorate a billion strong people & with that an acknowledgment of their core beliefs.

The momentum of this awakening & realisation, revival & renaissance must not be allowed to slacken.

The future will not be forgiving.
