The undermining of the Kakhovska dam is not yet a "black swan", that is, an unexpected event that changes everything. This was expected, the Ukrainian authorities even warned that the occupiers had mined the Kakhovska HPP and were preparing a terrorist attack.

But this is a "gray swan", because the consequences will still be large-scale, with a serious impact on the course of the war.

The nature of the water flow allows us to conclude that the "body" of the dam stood, otherwise an artificial tsunami with a height of 8-10 meters would have immediately occurred. And then it would be just a horror for the residents of the coastal areas.

But now there is a threat to other dams of the Dnipro Cascade, first of all, Zaporizhzhia HPP, due to the fact that the water load on them is increasing. And our hydropower workers need to act adequately and carefully.

Absolutely ridiculous considerations, whether the occupiers blew up the dam, or maybe it collapsed on its own... The aggressor is responsible for everything that happened during the unprovoked aggression.

The destruction of the Kakhovska Dam is another war crime by the russia, which failed in The Hague.
There is no doubt that the russians blew up the dam in the hope of deterring the Ukrainian offensive in this way. Calculation for two circumstances:

First, the Crimean direction is considered promising for our offensive. And it is known that Ukrainian SOFs operate on the islands in the lower reaches of the Dnipro, preparing something like intermediate bridgeheads.

Therefore, the occupiers hope to wash away these parts of us with an artificial wave. By the way, they unsuccessfully tried to do exactly the same thing near Kryvyi Rih.

Secondly, after flooding, large areas of the left bank of the #Kherson oblast will turn into swamps for several weeks, which are extremely difficult to navigate. And this should hold our offensive.

The aggressor absolutely hates the suffering of Ukrainians on both banks of the Dnipro, as well as in Crimea, which risks being left almost without water for the summer. If the under-empire is unable to seize Ukraine, it will try to destroy it.

And Ukrainian diplomacy must urgently convey this to our allies and partners: the more modern offensive weapons we have, the faster we will de-occupy our land and make such disasters impossible.

And since such an aggravation has taken place, we hope that the Crimean bridge will not have weeks left to stand, but days or even hours.
