Ahh, how is it that in 2023 there are still conservationists who think that #biodiversity loss is because of a misalignment between logics of inquiry and action, rather than the non-logic of #capitalism & #colonialism?

To be sure, there are misalignments between what conservationists research and what practitioners do but I really think there are deeper, structural reasons (involving the political economy) and merely coordinating these two aspects won't solve the biodiversity crisis...
