Me: Don't trade individual coins. Trade portfolio of strategies and coins.
FAQ2: What if I want to trade a Meme Coin anyway?
3/ This question is STILL quite common.
A lot of novice traders don't get it and are still trying to catch a lucky break on some new trending coin.
If I had to, how would I trade them?
Breakout strategies are my solution...
4/ The assumption is as follows:
- You want to trade a given coin because you expect a strong move.
- These movements are very fast.
- Often they last only a few days, sometimes hours.
Conclusion:
Such a move always starts with a breakout to the upside.
5/ Don't forget one thing:
On these small coins, a pump is almost always followed by a dump.
What does that mean?
Exit is very important.
You don't buy these coins to hold for the long term.
6/ In these types of trades, it is better to collect profits faster.
There is no problem to reenter when the breakout continues.
