1 week before the Nova #Kakhovka Dam was blown by πŸ‡·πŸ‡Ί they passed a law that any damage to hydrolic structures as a result of sabotage or hostilities on the occupied territories will NOT be allowed to be investigated until 2028.

Why would they do that? πŸ€”

The needs in #Kherson are obviously massive rn. We spoke to the Deputy Mayor this morning and asked her to outline their specific needs. We are raising $$ that will be spent to pay invoices on those items on the ground in πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡¦ such as Kherson-wide solar grids, sump pumps & moreπŸ§΅πŸ‘‡πŸ»
If you are based in the US your donation is fully tax deductible as MR is a registered 501(c)3. Many employers have donation match programs for 501s. Please see if your place of employment participates & encourage others to do so as well. @MriyaReport πŸ‘‡πŸ» Image
We will also coordinate with charities on the ground in #Kherson to fund & deliver many other much needed items.

Every $ or € or Β£ or Β₯ helps us help #Ukraine.

Give what you can. Thank you. πŸ™πŸ» @MriyaReport

So latest bit of #russiandisinformation #fakegnus I’ve seen floating around is a Ukrainian soldier is a former member of ISIS as evidenced by his β€œarm badge” clearly visible in multiple frames caught by recent TV reporting. 1/2 🧡

Here is the debunker #fakegnus #russiandisinformation

TBC, it isn’t that he isn’t wearing a patch that isn’t associated w/ISISβ€” it’s that 1) he’s Christian/always has been. 2) says he, like many soldiers, collects patches off πŸ‡·πŸ‡Ί& this was a recent πŸ‡·πŸ‡Ί trophy. 3) has been interviewed a few times before this no sign of the patch. πŸ‘‡πŸ»

TFW you are doing research and the author makes a bold claim about an ethnic group, cites it, in two separate instances and NEITHER source makes the claim the author says-- in a PEER-REVIEWED article. The net result paints that ethnic group in a highly negative light.πŸ§πŸ€”πŸ§
If a student did this, it would be academic dishonesty. Full stop.

There is racism in πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡¦ as there is in any country. I could pull statistics all day but two bits are the most telling. The last parliamentary election netted exactly ZERO far-right political parties any position of power; not a single seat in the Rada. The rest of Europe should be… twitter.com/i/web/status/1… Image
Ukraine has the lowest levels of antisemitism in the whole of Europe period.

So for all the claims of Nazism etc, don’t believe it. It doesn’t hold up. Additionally, it is Russia that ultimately is the biggest exporter of white nationalism across the European continent.

Today marks 79years since the #Aardakh Genocide also known asβ€” Operation Lentil. This is when Stalin ordered the deportation of the entire Chechen and Ingush populations. #Chechnya #Ichkeria 🧡 #russiancolonialism #russiaisaterroriststate Image
During WWII, Stalin became suspicious of the Chechen population because the Germans got within a close margin of the Western mountainous region of the North Caucasus and suspected the Chechens of colluding with the Nazisβ€” even though many were fighting on behalf of the Red Army. ImageImage
This fact was irrelevant. Stalin decide they were all Nazis and must be destroyed.

Since 1918 Feb 23rd was a day to celebrate the Red Armyβ€” knowing this, the Soviets used this day to trick the Chechens.
