In the #AmazonJungle, 4 children survived after being lost for 40 days.
How did they do it?
Ages 13, 9, 4, and an infant 🧒, they survived the world's most dangerous wildlife with venomous snakes and ferocious predators.
The unfolding story really hooked me up. 🧵
When a helicopter carrying their parents crashed in the Amazon forest, these children miraculously survived. They were seated in the back side of the plane.
Their incredible story teaches us that survival skills go beyond what you can learn in books.
These kids are from the Huitoto tribe, one of many Indigenous groups living in the Amazon. Traditionally, hunter-gatherers,most Huitoto have "adapted to a westernized way of life".
But these children's early education on jungle plants
& animals helped them survive their ordeal
One of the rescuers discovered a makeshift camp made of woods, giving hope that the missing children were still alive.
Then, relief! Colombian soldiers found them and ended the captivating search-and-rescue saga tht left everyone questioning how they survived in the jungle.
Hope to read triumphant stories of rescued children in their own words-tales of survival, perseverance, & hope.
Prez #GustavoPetro of Colombia called them “an example of survival”-their saga“will remain in history.”
These inspiring stories will motivate us to keep fighting💪

Here are some of the insights from our interactions on #startups & investment
Two things are most critical for startups to succeed
- right talent
- funds
“Investing in startup is not an easy thing. There is FOMO to become angle investor these days.
If as an investor you don’t have skin in the game, it it neither beneficial for startup not for the investor.”
“Startup investors should bring more on the table than just MONEY on the table. More and more startups are looking for right kind of expertise & mentorship along with funding. Investors can bring their knowledge ( HR, Sales, Marketing, Product & Others) to startups.”
