The dogwhistles are everywhere…

Conservative MPs spoke of "pre-born" children.

They spoke of the "legal voids" caused by the "lack of abortion laws in Canada".

When people tell you what they stand for, believe them.

These not-so-subtle dogwhistles have been heard.

By far the most active support of the Bill is coming from the anti-abortion campaigns run by right-wing Christian lobby group ARPA

These flyers are everywhere…

The reality is ARPA executive director Mark Penninga has been pushing for bills like C-311 for years:

"We need more courageous MPs who introduce bills and motions, and [...] I’m optimistic that we will see an abortion law pass within a decade"

C-311 is now the 5th iteration of what ARPA has been calling for

Anti-choice groups are clear – they support the bill because it is the first step to more restrictive abortion laws in Canada

The true intent of Bill C-311 is clear, and Canadian women see it for what it is.

Canadians across the country should pay close attention to how MPs vote on this bill.
