A fire has broken out in Jerusalem near the aquarium and zoo and the water spring that is there at the end of the road in the video #happeningnow; fire services are arriving at this moment 🔥 🚨
Fire services are trying to put it out
It appears from the other side that most of it has been contained
The Jerusalem aquarium in the foreground
Now due to wind it has grown a bit and they are using planes on it and moving fire services above it

Are the origins of the mass death of migrants on the boat that capsized off Greece and Italy that came from Tobruk in Libya...in a 2022 story about a very SIMILAR vessel with 500 people on board? What do you think? Maybe the same smugglers behind it.
What if we had learned from the 2022 incident where 500 people were crammed on this not seaworthy vessel and sailed toward Crete and left adrift? The captain and crew magically left, right? Reports say "no idea" where it came from...
Isn't it interesting how captains and crew of these vessels magically disappear....they take the boat to sea; no one stops them, no marina or port says "stop"...and they leave and go home and relax with huge profits. No one says anything.
THREAD: The more I read about the tragic case of more than 700 people who were illegally crowded aboard a boat in Libya and made the deadly trip towards Italy, it's clear how many people let these hundreds of people down. First of all the criminal gangs involved in smuggling.
Then comes the fact authorities in Libya and perhaps other areas of North Africa didn't do anything to stop a massively overcrowded ship from sailing. Where did this boat come from, who owned it, who captained it? No one works to stop this ship from setting off.
Let's remember, the BBC says "The boat had departed empty from Egypt and stopped at the Libyan port of Tobruk where it picked up migrants destined for Italy, Greek media reports." Planning went into this.
Ynet in Israel has an article about how it has become normal in parts of the Negev for men to drive around shooting in the air with illegal rifles. They don't need to compare to "Iraq"...it's that the state that built Iron Dome doesn't enforce laws against illegal weapons.
I remember the years when I would listen to people talk about the need to bring "sovereignty" to the West Bank or "annexation"...and I'd always say to them..."you can't even bring basic laws and protection to civilians in the Negev, or your 'sovereignty' or annex that"
This is a fact. The illegal weapons that flowed into Jenin and Nablus and lead to constant raids by the IDF are the same trend of the thousands of illegal rifles that flood Israel. For decade(s) few laws were enforced. The "sovereignty" story was always about extending failure.
Why do they call it a Greek, the boat came from Libya, right and was sailing to Italy. It seems that this coded language is designed to move responsibility from the wider problem and murderous criminality of smugglers; to single out Greece.
According to the BBC the boat was far off the coast here, Europe had a long timeto work on a joint effort regarding migration across the sea. Instead it seems easier to try to find a scapegoat bbc.com/news/world-eur…
"The boat was traveling from the coastal city of Tobruk in Libya to Italy when it capsized off the coast of Greece. At least 78 people have died and some reports said up to 750 were on board."

In the modern naval battlespace, the threat of torpedoes poses complex challenges for not only submarines, but also surface vessels. As the capabilities of torpedoes have advanced, the need for more sophisticated defense has as well."
The companies say they have a "one-of-a-kind solution to address this urgent operational need: a comprehensive torpedo defense suite for surface ships. This innovative suite includes the highly effective Blackfish and Monkfish Torpedo Detection and Alert Sonar (TDAS) HMS systems
I've noticed a trend, and it's hard to quantify, but it appears many of the most visibly anti-Israel accounts have become more extreme in their rhetoric in the last several years; this includes things like slandering Israelis as "not from" the Middle East, an extreme language
A lot of it is dehumanizing and othering, it's not the usual "pro-peace" language that used to exist on the surface (while behind it was support for 'armed struggle') it's just openly, blatantly hateful pejorative and advocating violence.
It also tends to embrace more and more the most far-right aspects of the extremist curve...meaning that given a spectrum of Palestinian groups, it embraces the most nationalist, religious far-right aspect.
