This channel I started in July will generate ~$15-$25k a month.
I do this by identifying viral formats on YouTube by looking at patterns of outliers. Then bringing those over to new niches and topics.
Here is a 7-step guide on how you can do the same!
1. Understanding what my personal definition of a format is.
When I say "format" I'm referring to the stylistic and structural approach to presenting content.
A video topic is content centered around a specific subject, regardless of its format.
2. What is an outlier?
an outlier is a video that receives vastly higher or lower views compared to a channel's usual videos.
3. Topic outliers
Now in my strategy, there are 2 types of outliers.
- Topic outliers: a video that does way better than average because it was a unique idea, or attached itself to a short-lived trend.
or
- Format outliers: A specific and identifiable video format that does way better than average across multiple channels and (preferable) across multiple niches regardless of topic.
4. Understanding the value of an outlier.
Now not all outliers are equal.
If you're looking to start a new channel you preferably want to look for format outliers on channels that have either recently started or have a low amount of uploads.
5. Finding outliers
Now to find an outlier you can use multiple methods.
1. Scroll your YouTube homepage 2. Go through a bunch of keywords on search looking for high view low sub count channels 3. Using tools like is also a good option https://t.co/6Y91YEna0Ynexlev.io
6. Cross-referencing outliers.
Now once you spot a potential outlier format you wanna try to see if this format has worked on other channels and niches.
You do this by taking some of the titles and searching for them in the same or different niches.
7. Implementing the strategy
Now once you have found an outlier that has worked on multiple niches and channels. Either implement it on one of the niches that it has worked on before (make sure the saturation in that niche is low) or apply the outlier format to a new niche.
That's a wrap!

5 AI tools I ACTUALLY use to help grow my YouTube channels
from 0 to millions of views per month!
(Thread)
1. Icons8 Upscaler
This is an AI image upscale I use to enhance faces for thumbnails.
2. Nexlev (coming soon..)
A tool I've been working on with my DEV team for the last few months that scrapes millions of youtube channels in search for Low supply and high-demand niches. it also uses machine learning to accurately predict rpms of channels
I often get questions like: What's a good CTR?
Or my CTR is really high why is my video not going viral?
I'll be sitting behind my laptop like this:
Here is why.
So let's talk about the first question.
What's a good average CTR?
In short, there is no such thing as a "good" average CTR
a lot of gurus and YouTubers will say: On average: a 5% CTR is good, a 10% + CTR is great, and a 15% + CTR is amazing.
But this is simply false.
The metric: CTR is based on hundreds of factors you DO NOT Control. Most people think more impressions = Lower CTR, which is true but only the tip of the iceberg.
In the end, it gets influenced by so many factors that it's more noise than a true signal.
I doubled my YouTube ad earnings by increasing my CPM!
Wondering how I did it?
No worries, here are the 3 methods I used to increase my CPM.
*Disclaimer: These methods won't work for every single situation or channel. So please take these with a pinch of salt!
Also, I took the end-of-year CPM Spikes into consideration.
3. Change topics to higher CPM audiences
One of the channels I own is a faceless channel about geopolitics. I started noticing that videos involving Asian countries often enough got the most views. But the trade-off? I got a higher influx of Asian viewers. Resulting in lower CPM
Across the 40 faceless channels that I've started, it took me on average: 2 months to gain 10k subscribers.
While regular YouTubers often take 2-6x as long to get the same results!
So what do faceless creators know that you don't?
*Disclaimer: I don't actually think faceless channels are better than regular creators. Just wanted you to open this thread and learn why faceless creators are good at STARTING channels 😉
1. Faceless channels understand ikigai
A lot of traditional YouTubers are consumed by creativity and passion and randomly start channels in subjects they are passionate about without giving it any strategic thought.
