As sickened and angry as I am about the mountain of antisemitism unleashed from “progressives” recently, I’m still doing everything I can to raise money for actual Democratic candidates…because democracy is facing an existential threat from MAGA Republicans.

HOWEVER…
…going forward, if I find out that one of the Democratic candidates on my list doesn’t believe Israel has the right to exist as a Jewish homeland (separate from their views of other I/P issues), I will remove them from my fundraising efforts. No argument, no debate; just gone.
In most cases this is unlikely to come up. Most far left types won’t be nominees in competitive seats, and state legislative candidates don’t usually delve into foreign policy too often anyway. But if it does come up & I find out…goodbye.
I’m not sending a questionnaire to 900 candidates to fully vet them on I/P issues. I’m just one dude doing this for free in my spare time. But if anyone wants to give me a heads up re an interview or something relevant on their issues page, feel free and I’ll take a look.
If you’re reading this and laughing because I seem full of myself thinking candidates care: I personally raised over $6 million for Democratic candidates in 2020, including several hundred thousand apiece for various Senate candidates…all from my home office.
Anyway, for the next 9 days, I’m focusing purely on the VIRGINIA legislature, the NEW JERSEY legislature and the statewide races in KY, La & MS.

P.S. For what it’s worth, so far I’ve raised over $175,000 for Dems this cycle, including $100,000 for ~2 dozen @vademocrats running in competitive seats. That’s around $4,000 apiece.
@vademocrats After next Tuesday, I’ll shift from the opening act to the main event: nearly 100 Congressional, Senate, & Statewide seats *and* several hundred State Legislative seats.

“Gee, why do Jews need to have their own sovereign nation anyway?”

(There’s 50 Muslim-majority countries & 158 Christian-majority countries, and there are ~1.9B Muslims & ~2.2B Christians globally vs just ~16M Jews, or just 0.2% of the e population.)
You can (and I have) criticized Israeli *policy* and *actions* that they’ve taken, just like any other gov’t; you can (and I strongly do) want a Palestinian state next to it; but if you don’t believe Israel should even *exist* as a Jewish homeland, unfollow and block me now.
And within minutes of saying that I’ve lost another 15 followers. Image

Ok, someone with a WSJ account has GOT to send me a non-paywalled version of this article. (Cracking knuckles)
OK, first, thank you to @ItWasACoup for the gift link!

I'm working on a full blog post, but just for starters, let's take a look at this paragraph: Image
@ItWasACoup The Op-Ed uses a "middle-aged" couple w/2 children; I'm assuming "middle-aged" to be ~45 yrs old. Let's say the children are 12 and 15.

The family earns $70,000/year, which is 233% of the Federal Poverty Level, and lives in Dallas County.

Lost another ~100 followers here the past few days. Dunno if it’s due to Musks ongoing destruction of the platform or because of my relentless Dem fundraising posts. If it’s the latter and you’re hoping I’ll stop, you might as well unfollow me now because I won’t. 1/
Democracy itself is hanging by a thread. I suck at canvassing, phone banking, postcard writing etc. what I *am* good at is raising money for Dem campaigns online so they can use it to help *pay for* the canvassing, phone banking, campaign lit, pizza for volunteers and so on. 2/
This platform is falling apart and may very well be a wasteland of MAGA/cryptobro grifters a year from now anyway, so I’m using the time it has left to raise as much money as possible to elect Democrats up & down the ballot this year and next.

For all the fuss over solar roadways a few years back this makes a lot more sense.
Frankly, we should be installing solar panel arrays over parking lots nationally. Most of it is wasted space most of the time (especially when you include the lanes between parking spaces) and it would also protect people & cars from the elements.
For example: This is the main parking lot of the GM Orion Assembly Plant in Orion Twp, MI. This is where the Chevy Bolt EV is manufactured.

The main portion of the parking lot is 1.3 million sq. feet, or nearly 30 acres.

No obstructions of any sort. Image

Re. Rogan & Musk trying to bully @PeterHotez into having a "debate" w/raving lunatic, serial liar & convicted drug trafficker RFK Jr., here's @KFF's estimate, which put U.S. #COVID19 deaths attributable to not getting vaccinated at ~234K as of April 2022: healthsystemtracker.org/brief/covid19-…
...and here's my own estimate (using cruder methodology) which put it at between 180K - 235K as of March 2022:
acasignups.net/22/03/10/my-ow…
Finally, while this one doesn't try to specify the hard number who died due to not getting vaccinated specifically, here's the U.S. COVID death rate broken out by vaccination rate at the county level from 5/01/21 - 2/11/23:
