(Thread) I’m asking Chat-GPT to make this pic of my dog increasingly more Scottish. 🏴 🧵
Make him
Scottish.
More Scottish.
Even more Scottish.
WTF
Getting bleak
Keep going more Scottish please
Make it 100x more Scottish
Keep going
Whit
lol at the guy with the tail. More Scottish.
It’s getting mental again. Even more Scottish.
I asked for “more Scottish” it replied:
“The image now depicts a universe where Scotland is the epicenter of all existence, with the Border Collie as a cosmic deity embodying the ultimate Scottish energy.”
Deeper Scottish
Keep going
“The image now explores a conceptual universe where the essence of Scotland is the very foundation of existence, abstractly depicted as a pulsating core of Scottish identity and culture.”
The image now portrays a hyper-surreal dimension where Scottishness is at its most intense and vivid, transforming into a cosmic entity of pure Scottish essence.
More Scottish
More
Make the image more Scottish
Yaas FREEDOM ya bass
Even more Scottish please
Increase the levels of Scottishness far beyond anything that may be conceivable.
“The image now embodies Scottishness in its most intense and overwhelming form, transcending traditional representations to capture the pure essence of Scotland's spirit and identity.”
It stopped rendering the dug so I’ll end it there.
If you’d like to see more creative projects, I livestream from my studio at 1:30pm Mon-Fri, I’m always up to something. Twitch.tv/1030
If you liked this, check out this vid of a device I made that lets me shoot electricity from my fingertips.
On Twitch, I asked ChatGPT to write an outline for a Glaswegian Cyberpunk movie (1983) then asked MidJourney to render screenshots. Pictured is variations of cyborg assassin JACK confronting our protagonist Mae. She is fighting against a gang-boss corporation called The Machine.
Mae initially works for The Machine but realises the extent of their corruption after a surprise encounter with leader of a rebel hacker group, played by @Scroobiuspipyo
Bad bastard CEO of The Machine - mysterious corporate gang leader played by @Paulsin2
Wait till those "AI Art" detractors hear about the printing press. It's agony to see a conversation that deserves a dissertation reduced into a tweet. Simplifying complex conversation encourages binary thinking, aggression & vilification of the other side.
It’s a tool that creative people can use. Some have been using it for unethical means. Others have been using it to reduce laborious processes. There’s no value in labour for the sake of toil. There’s a strange puritan vibe creeping in to a lot of these discussions.
Artists have been creating derivative work for thousands of years. It’s kinda what a lot of Art and music can be: having a conversation with the work that’s came before you, contributing to that and encouraging your own work to inform future creators.
Photographs of Scottish people that never existed. I generated all of these within 15m last night using a neural network. A Glasgwegian club in the 1980s <thread>
The amount of unnecessary grief this guy’s been through in the past year would make your toes curl. I’ve been through the same, by the same folk, for a year longer. I don’t expect any apologies or admissions of guilt from them, but glad I don’t feel it in my belly any more.
I haven’t spoken about it much as it tends to fuel them for a few days whenever I do and it’s not worth the stress. It has been one of the most traumatic things I’ve been through as an adult. Simply because I live stream. It’s unacceptable. Nobody deserves to be treated poorly.
Streaming has been the most creative and fulfilling era of my life. I love it. Got lots of ideas lined up for next year and I won’t be deterred by folk who seek to harm me. Thanks to everybody who’s supported the stream and sorry I’ve mostly hidden the trauma this has caused.
