Everything must be viewed through the lens of Trump's extreme narcissism.

Even Trump's sociopathy occurs in the service of his Narcissism.

As explained in my analysis of @gtconway3d's & @duty2warn's conversation of @psychopac24’s ad:

“Trump’s narcissism > his sociopathy”:

1/
Image
In 2019, there was a @JimVandeHei interview of Trump where Trump appeared to get emotional talking about:

“I want to be nice. I don’t want to be this way, but I have to be this way”.

I wrote about how Trump is counterintuitively a "people pleaser".

2/
Image
With regards to racism, there may elements of narcissism (grandiosity, superiority complex) that factor in.....

....which may rise to the level of sociopathy (reckless disregard for the safety of others) when it metastasizes to "White Supremacy".

3/
As Trump's nephew explained...

...Trump's narcissism not only may explain his feelings (grandiosity) towards people of color...

...but it explains his actions/statements:

"Racism is the currency used to purchase narcissistic supply from his base":

4/
Image
This analysis also applies to Trump's misogyny.....

.....and his use of "humor" to humiliate his enemies:

5/
Image
I've recently discussed Trump's "people pleaser" orientation when analyzing why the assassination attempt will not only not have a positive effect on Trump, but will actually make him worse.

6/
As far the reference to Trump's supporters in the opening question......

A couple of observations from 2019......First:

Let's expand upon this thread to include and analyze Trump's appearance at the National Association of Black Journalists....and look at it through the lens of Trump's narcissism...

13/ Image
People, such as @Scaramucci, question why Trump did this interview.

One of the things to remember is that people are siloed in their information bubbles. Trump has not only repeated his claim that he’s done more for black people than any president in history so many times that he probably believes it……

....but most/all of the black people who he comes into contact with are kissing his ass and telling him how wonderful he is because he surrounds himself with tribal sycophants.

14/Image
At some point, Trump (and his people) probably start to believe his/their narratives about how much he’s done for black people, and how much they love him ("polls are up!)...

....that he/they start to believe it.

14/
We saw this dynamic play out in the 2022 midterm election when MAGA/Republicans had convinced themselves that there was going to be a “Red Wave”….

….because they kept telling each other that there was going to be a “Red Wave”.

15/
So with that in mind there are several things that may be factoring in with Trump's behavior at the NABJ:

1. Trump literally believes he’s done great things for the black community…..

...and that these black women are “ungrateful”…..not groveling to him (grandiosity).

16/
2. Trump may be surprised to have been “ambushed” by the ungrateful black journalists....

.....because he’s accustomed to Harris Faulkner, Lawrence Jones, Charles Payne, Candace Owens, Jason Whitlock, Tim Scott, Royce White…..kissing his ass.

17/

Image
Image
Image
3. Trump was looking for conflict…..

....looking to own the “blacks" (Trumpian voice inflection intended).

....because some in his base eat it up, and give him positive reinforcement for this behavior:

18/
Trump is engaging in something I coined 10+ years ago when observing Cluster B people in my personal life:

The “Manipulation of the interaction timeline”

Trump is dismissing his own initial egregious actions/statements (some of which were read to him just minutes before)....

....and is focusing on the rational reaction to his actions/statements, in order to “manipulate” the “timeline” (when the conflict started)....

......in order to make himself the victim....

....and to characterize the people responding to his initial actions/statements as the aggressors who are "unfairly" attacking him.

19/
5. I’ve recently analyzed Trump’s pathological concept of "unfairness" here:

20/

6. Trump impulsively couldn’t avoid sabotaging his long term goals/interests (recruit, or at least hold onto gains he’s made with, black voters)...

....because he couldn’t resist the impulsive temptation of taking a short term “win” (the satisfaction of attacking the journalists).

Trump is a walking marshmallow test:

21/Image
As far as the hype around Trump "tightening" the water bottle.......

Yes, that's absolutely something Trump would do.....

(remember when he gave the female astronaut the middle finger when she corrected him?)

22/
But when I watched it, I interpreted it as him reaching for water when in the middle of conflict......grabbing the wrong one.....starting to open it before putting it down s could speak....and then drinking out of it later.

As seen throughout his life, @JDVance is a shapeshifting sociopath.

Here, he pathetically attempts to mimic not just Trump's persecution complex, but he literally attempts to mimic Trump's cadence and inflection when speaking in the 1st person about himself: "JD",

...and when he says, "...and the media didn't care about that."

For almost a decade, I've analyzed how Trump's behavior/actions was consistent with someone who appeared to have no intention of leaving office legally, constitutionally, and peacefully. That bore out on January 6th, 20221.

There are many examples in Trump's 2nd term where that would also appear to be the case: Unparalleled corruption, publicly stating that he doesn't think/care about Americans' financial situations, financial decisions (demanding lower interest rates) that will cause inflation, getting entangled in a Middle East war, putting his name on everything, etc.

However, it's possible that Trump's 2nd term actions aren't motivated by a delusional/grandiose belief that he won't be leaving in 2029.......

......but are instead the actions/behaviors of a guy who doesn't believe that he's going to live to the end of his term.

1/Image
I've written repeatedly how Trump's Cluster B Personality Disorders cause him to live in the "eternal, immortal now".

2/
But, if Trump has a serious medical condition, imagine how knowing that he has a finite amount of time left would affect/amplify his "eternal, immortal now" compulsion.

It's interesting to watch Trump's support crumble with people who are losing their minds over Cluster B Personality disorder symptoms/characteristics that the Mental Health field have been warning about for a decade.

A decade ago, we highlighted how "only the best people" were hired....when "the best" was not necessarily about merit/competency, but was about whether Trump thought they "liked" him (loyalty). Essentially, the government was being staffed by someone with a pathologically fragile ego that created a child-like need to be "liked". And when someone like Mattis/Kelly/etc stood up to Trump on moral/ethical grounds, Trump would disparage them.....like he now does Joe Kent....without any awareness of contradiction....because in Trump's mind there is no contradiction: when someone likes him, there the best people....and when they don't like him (or sycophantically support him), they're no longer the best people.

The sad/pathetic part isn't that Trump is too disordered to have the self awareness to understand that this is the antithesis of good leadership.......it's that the entire Right Wing Media Echo Chamber did/does........and fed this gaslighting propaganda/manipulation to tens of millions of Americans......most of whom are too invested emotionally, and with their identity to ever admit they were conned.
Trump's ego-based insecurities and need to be liked has been a national security risk for a decade. This is why the mental health field has been so vocal:

Here, Fuentes is realizing that Trump's Cluster B Personality disorders has resulted in a "hostile occupation"........or more accurately, an Authoritarian hijacking of the constitutional order, and the United States.

Bannon's "need to get on the ins with Epstein" is very simple:

Narcissists and sociopaths are running and "influencing" (through modern technology) the world.

A hallmark os Cluster B Personality-disordered people?

They are pathologically transactional....even if it harms other people ("Reckless disregard for others").

1/Image
Image
Bannon didn't care what Epstein did to girls/women (Reckless disregard for others).

Bannon only cared about what Epstein could and would do to further Bannon's self-interest and causes (transaction).

Bannon not only didn't care what Epstein did to girls/women.....he joked about it:

2/
Here's a reminder of what some of these girls/women suffered from Epstein trafficking them to fellow members of the "Epstein Class".

For years, there’s been concern that Trump will unconstitutionally run for a third term.

Some thoughts/observations tying together Trump’s Davos Speech, ICE, Venezuela/Greenland, the “Board of Peace”, the 2026/2028 elections....

....and even Curtis Yarvin.

Let’s unpack....

1/
In the video above, Bannon references "the will of the people".

The will of the people is being completely disregarded by ICE, and DHS.

One of the objectives of the ICE raids is to condition Americans to be afraid to exercise their constitutional rights.....which has been the 1st Amendment Right to free speech, and the right to peacefully assemble.

2/
ICE is not only violating people’s 1st Amendment rights, but they are violating the 4th Amendment, which forbids “unreasonable searches and seizures by the government, requiring warrants to be supported by probable cause”.

Remember when Trump/MAGA criticized the “uni-party” predecessors for being the world’s “policeman”, and “promised” that Trump/MAGA/“America First”...

...would put an end to “regime change”, “nation building”, and “forever wars”?

“Promises made, promises kept...”?

Let’s unpack....

The Venezuela military action is the latest example of the predictable fraudulence of promises Trump made during the 2024 campaign.

There was never a question of whether Trump would sell out the country and his supporters......the only question was by how much.

2/
Trump is a sociopathic narcissist who is incapable of putting the interests of the country or others before his own interests.

Any instance where Trump actually does something that is good for the country, is simply an instance where his interests/desires happen to coincide with a benefit to the country.
