A few thoughts about the #Kursk offensive.
I took interest into the border between Ulanove #Ukraine (95km N of Soumy) and Kolotilovka #Russia (45 km SE of Soumy).
The official border here is 300 km. 1/
If Ukraine can secure a frontline behind the Amon'ka, Seym, Psel and Ilek rivers, it could reduce the frontline lenght by 40% (around 180 km).
Ukrainians must take control of Rylsk, Korenovo, Soudja, Belitsa, Belaya, Ilek and Kolotilovka. Part of it is already achieved.
2/
Most important, the frontline East of Soumy (from Ulanok to Kolotilovka) could be 80% behind rivers and offers a buffer zone of 10 to 25km. In the Northern part of the new front, 40% of the line would be behind rivers and creates another buffer zone of +-25km. 3/
If Korenovo falls, the entire part South of the Seym river will fall. If this part falls, the lands North of the Seym river will also fall fast, as it would be surrounded from 3 sides by ZSU & the only exits would be two 9km corridors NE once the bridge in Rylsk is destroyed. 4/
Before the Ukrainian offensive, this part of the border was a frontline only for Ukraine, as it could threaten Soumy. Now, it is also a frontline for Russia.
Before, the Russians could have only a few thousands conscripts & FSB, now they will have to man the entire region.
5/
In the same time, Ukrainians will be able to reduce very significatively their presence there thanks to a shorter frontline with natural obstacles. The Shoumy problem will be solved for a long time.
So, I think this #KurskOffensive was a very smart move.

I was sanctionned by twitter AGAIN!
2 weeks ago, I made a thread about a video shared by russian propagandists & I came to the conclusion that the video was most probably staged, the alleged POWs being in fact russian deserters tortured by their own army
To summarize the most important points:
- only 1 “POW” out of 3 is bleeding despite being shot at point blank
- the “POWs” shot in the leg are doing very controlled stunts to fall on the ground
- the frames of the video at the 2 visible shots seem to show the use of blank rounds
- almost no guards had armbands. The ones seen are very large, unlike those used by UKR
- there are no Ukrainian flags or chevrons visible, when most UKR soldiers wear some
- all unit’s identifications have been removed from the "POWs",when UKR usually show them when filming POWs
As these soldiers were not evacuable when the russian unit left the place, they may have been shot & burned right after, because:
- They didn’t have many civilian vechs to leave the plant
- The commanders didn’t want them to be saved & witness that they tortured their own soldiers
I believe most of the “POWs” were in fact deserters from the russian army being punished.
As the russian commander knew he couldn’t hold the village, he arranged this scene, by ordering its soldiers to remove their armband &put blue ones on a few of them, then film the exactions
5 days after the publication of the video, Ukrainians officials have not yet stated on this case
Imho the russian unit seen in the video managed to escape, so Ukr is not able to have & publish their testimony
The wounded deserters are now certainly in military custody in Russia
The recent video posted by a russian propagandist is "concerning".
There are issues with what is shown, mainly related with the alleged wounds.
In the short vid, it's obvious that there is NO marks of any shooting in the right leg and no blood on the ground. #ActorStudio 1/3
In the 1st and longer vid, the legbands are very very clean despite the blood being under it. It seems the russian soldiers just laid on the blood. 2/3
I believe rashists have used a couple of real wounder soldiers to stage a fake video. The absence of any yellow/blue chevrons on the standing soldiers also indicates that the video is very very doubtious 3/3
1/ In France, anyone is free to think what he wants.
I don't expose the individuals in this thread for their ideas, but for their direct or indirect links with the owner of the BMW that #Maxime Nicolle, alias #FlyRider, a leader of the #GiletsJaunes, drove in NICE on 02/09/19
2/ I usually do IMINT (sat pics) to expose the Russian military presence in Donbas (Ukraine), like in this article published by the Ukrainian Military Portal in June 2017.
This means that anyone can do the same, and check my results by himself.
2.1/ From the beginning, the #GiletsJaunes have been infested by putinists and other far-right activists.
Several have even fought in Donbas. Some are exposed in the thread below.
Many informations are already available on this topic,
