It is essential for many to understand the beginnings of the Syrian revolution in order to comprehend what is happening now. It is also crucial to acknowledge that the sacrifices made by the Syrian people exceed what the human mind can imagine.
Everyone must understand that the Syrian people are willing to accept even being ruled by the devil himself to remove Bashar al-Assad from power, especially since the international community remains passive, merely watching the crimes committed against the Syrian people since 2011.
When the Syrian people rose against Bashar al-Assad at the beginning of 2011, there were no organized military factions.

Most groups across Syrian provinces consisted of locals armed with only light weapons to protect protests, especially after Assad decided from day one to kill peaceful protesters.
This was particularly evident when massive demonstrations occurred in several provinces, notably Hama and Deir ez-Zor.

The international community remained hesitant and unwilling to overthrow Bashar al-Assad. They feared a repeat of the scenarios in Egypt, Libya, and Yemen, as Assad leveraged his role in securing the borders with Israel to threaten the world.
The foolishness of international foreign policy is now evident as Iranian and Hezbollah-backed militias receive weapons from Assad’s military arsenal.

The Free Syrian Army (FSA) emerged as a national Syrian faction spanning the entire country, without including foreign fighters or jihadists. It became highly organized, eventually controlling over 70% of Syria’s territory and expelling Assad’s regime.
Simultaneously, open borders allowed Islamist groups from around the world to enter Syria and form factions, including Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham (formerly known as Jabhat al-Nusra) and other Salafist or Muslim Brotherhood-affiliated groups.
The Obama administration's policy of turning a blind eye to Assad’s crimes, including the use of chemical weapons, enabled Russia to intervene and burn Syria to stabilize Assad’s illegitimate rule.
Thousands of foreign fighters flooded Syria through official and unofficial crossings, while Assad released hundreds of jihadists from his prisons amidst the chaos of military factionalism. Despite the Free Syrian Army’s proven capability to topple Assad, the plan was clearly to protect him, weaken the FSA, and dismantle it indirectly.
The Obama administration ceased all forms of support for the Syrian opposition under the pretext that jihadists were seizing weapons, posing a genuine threat.

Meanwhile, Obama paid no heed to Assad’s massacres, including the use of chemical weapons.
Over time, Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham (HTS) became the strongest military faction in northwest Syria, particularly after ISIS was defeated militarily.

HTS solidified its presence in Idlib and began strengthening its military and political authority as other factions were eliminated.
Turkey, for its part, restructured several former Free Syrian Army factions under the umbrella of the "Syrian National Army," which is directly loyal to Turkey and primarily aims to counter the threat posed by the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF).
These factions are concentrated in border areas with Turkey, particularly in rural Idlib and Aleppo.

For 13 years, the Syrian people have been caught between these factions, which alternate in ruling them by force.
Syrians had high hopes that the international community would support their revolution, but those dreams have turned into illusions.
No one supported the Syrians without ulterior motives, nor did they unite in their goal to overthrow Assad. This has left the Syrian people devastated, enduring unspeakable suffering, displacement, and destruction.
Millions of Syrians have been displaced because of their opposition to Assad, with deteriorating conditions across all aspects of life in Syria, including internal displacement.
These factors, among others, have rendered Syrians powerless, with no say except to wait for an opportunity to seek revenge, primarily against Assad.
Recently, Turkey succeeded in uniting various factions, including those from the Syrian National Army and, to a larger extent, HTS, to launch a large-scale military operation against Assad's forces.
This aims to humiliate Assad and thwart recent political maneuvers backed by Russia and Iran to restore his legitimacy on the international stage.

The current battles are not solely about HTS; many participants, including individuals unaffiliated with military factions, are taking part. Turkish-backed factions and HTS are also involved.
Some, foolishly, paint a simplistic picture that the presence of Islamists like HTS poses a danger to Syria. These individuals fail to mention that Assad and Iranian-backed militias are the root of this danger.
As noted earlier, Assad released many jihadist leaders from prison at the start of the Syrian revolution, aiming to destabilize the entire region and cement his illegitimate rule.
Another group of shortsighted individuals has forgotten the bloodshed in Syria: the millions displaced, hundreds of thousands detained in Assad's prisons, and countless sacrifices since 2011 while the world stood idly by.
The Syrian people have completely lost trust in the international community, as it collaborates with Assad and coordinates with him. How can any hope for liberating Syria from this regime be built under such circumstances?
Who allowed jihadists into Syria?
Who released them from Syrian prisons?

It is irrational to discuss terrorism, extremism, jihadists, or Islamophobia while ignoring that the primary creators of terrorism in the world and the region are Bashar al-Assad, the Khamenei regime, and Iran-backed militias.
Important Note:

In the first four years of the Syrian revolution, the Syrian people opposed Jabhat al-Nusra. Later, they fought ISIS, particularly in Deir ez-Zor, for eight months while the world watched passively.
Syrians have always maintained a clear stance regarding military factions. No one should blame the Syrians—the root cause of this chaos and terrorism is Assad. Removing him would mean eradicating all forms of extremism.

Thread 🧵 :

Cells affiliated with Iran-backed militias have become significantly active in areas where U.S. forces are present east of the Euphrates in eastern Syria. The disaster is that a large portion of these cells uses the name "Tribal Fighters."
What’s happening now has become clearer to the residents of the region in recent weeks. However, today, Iran is taking advantage of the Israel-Hamas conflict to execute its agendas against U.S. forces, whether in Syria or Iraq
Me and @hxhassan wrote this investigation from the early days of these escalation ( 3 months ago), and today, the results on the ground confirm every word we wrote in this investigation.
