Fleet of Angels is the primary supplier of hay and other needed supplies at the two main evac centers that are providing care for horses being evacuated from the fires in the Los Angeles area - Pierce College and 👇

Los Angeles Evacuation Center. There're several 100s of horses (!!) in each of these 2 locations & the fire is still growing.

Feeding the horses while they are at the evacuation centers is just the beginning of our role there. When the fires are out and people start to gain access to their homes to see what's left, their horses will still need feed - lots of it. Horse owners may also need fencing

materials so they can even contain their horses again. Some horses that were left behind may need vet care for burns or other injuries. In many cases like this disaster, horse owners have no resources and nowhere to turn other than to Fleet of Angels. We can only help them

College evacuation center in Los Angeles County, for 200 evacuated horses. FOA-funded hay is also being unloaded right now for almost 300 horses at LA Evacuation Center. Liz Radley is helping organize hay, supplies, and more at LAEC and is our 'eyes and ears' there.
