1/4.Four patient advocates from 2 charities attended the @NHSEngland National #LongCovid Conference today. They weren’t invited originally. We had to push for those places. That took precious energy. Preparing for the day took energy. Travelling took energy. Talking took energy./ Woman wearing a hat, mask and Long Covid Support top looking exhausted.
2/4. Walking at the event took energy. Standing took energy. The noise, lights, movement around them took energy. Listening to talks and processing information took energy. And getting home is taking every last drop of energy they have./

3/4. We are so very grateful for the sacrifices made by such advocates to the detriment of their own wellbeing. Not only today but the years they have already put in to fighting for p/w #LongCovid to be believed, for appropriate research, healthcare, supporting others & more./
