Mohamed Imad Labed
محمد عماد لبد
His cousin wrote that Mohammad "sought martyrdom sincerely, desired what is with God, and attained it advancing, not retreating."
In the same eulogy, he described Mohammad Labad as "the first companion and right-hand of Ghassan al-Jarrah (Abu Hamza the Ghost)," a Hamas commander in the Sheikh Radwan and West Jabalia sectors.

All four journalists were killed in the same airstrike on the UNRWA school that also killed Islam Ahmed Al-Muqousi, who was later mourned as a PIJ commander affiliated with the missile forces of PIJ Saraya al-Quds.

Muhammad Abu Huwaidi was killed in Shujaiya during active phase of December 2023 battles.
Recently, after the war was ended, he was mourned on a PIJ-affiliated channel as a mujahid hero, with tribute poster showing him in military uniform.
"How painful is the loss of a loved one, and our suffering is immense.
Our faith comforts us when a hero is martyred.
The martyred mujahid: Mohammed Nasser Abu Huweidi"

"The Martyr Mujahid
One of the Knights of the Military Media Department - Rafah Brigade"
He was killed at the same strike that eliminated two of the most senior leaders of Hamas’s Al-Qassam Brigades: Mohamed Deif and Rafa Salama (Khan Yunis Chief Commander).

Moataz was targeted together with three PIJ members - Ishaq al-Tayf, Assad Ahmed Matar, and Mohammed Jamal al-Mubayyad - in the same vehicle.
There is a high likelihood he was also a combatant, but for now he is classified as collateral until further evidence emerges.
🧵PIJ Commander Deaths: Incidents and Collateral Casualties
An incident-by-incident investigation into Palestinian Islamic Jihad commander deaths, the people killed alongside them, and what the reconstructed casualty clusters reveal.
1/23
This thread summarizes a detailed research project I conducted over the last two months.
The full article is much longer and includes the source trail, methodology, statistics, charts, key findings, patterns, and the underlying sources.
2/23 middleeastbuka.substack.com/p/pij-commande…
Since October 2025, Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ) has published 19 bulk obituary batches containing 425 killed commanders, from staff-level figures to platoon commanders.
I used those PIJ self-identifications as the starting point for an incident-level OSINT analysis.
3/23
1/ The palestinian terrorist, eliminated last night, mentioned in the quoted post, is the same seen in one of the most horrifying footages from October 7.
Security camera footage from Kibbutz Alumim shows him killing 2 young women, shooting and killing them at point blank >>
🧵 Another killed Gaza medical worker, Jaber Mohammedin (MoH ID 802435446), with militant ties presented on a PIJ-affiliated channel as an engineer-commander.
They published a video showing him armed or preparing a rocket.
On Facebook he is described as a medic/doctor. Examples>
2/ Facebook posts: he appears in nurse uniform, is mentioned by the Palestinian Nurse Forum and Al-Rantisi–Al-Nasr Children’s Hospital, and in 2021 received a Master’s degree in a health-related field.
3/ Suprisingly, on the day of his death one facebook account revealed his PIJ affiliation:
The National Resistance Brigades and its military wing, the DFLP, announce the martyrdom of the great engineer in the PIJ:
Jaber Abdul Hamid Diab Muhammadin
🧵 After the ceasefire in Gaza, several videos surfaced, showing Hamas’s Arrow Unit using violence against Palestinians accused of various offences.
One of them showed a beating near a hardly visible ambulance
, (أسعاف)
caught my attention and prompted this investigation. >>
2/ I decided to check other violent clips from the same days to see if they were at the same place.
Step by step, matching anchors, it became clear the scenes were filmed inside the Nasser Hospital compound in Khan Younis, under the Specialized Kidney Diseases Support Center. >>
3/ Before I continue: the same full investigation is available on Substack, a clearer, more readable format for this kind of visual work.
It includes all sources of the original videos published by Palestinian channels.
🧵 The Israeli MoJ shared a list of 250 life sentence prisoners to be released in exchange for 20 hostages.
@TalHartuv shares his story, but some cases are from decades ago, and diving into each case is complex.
But, even the published metadata offers enough for basic analysis>>
2/ For example, a word cloud generated from the 'offences' field reveals the nature of the crimes committed by the released Palestinians, mostly murderers.
'Causing death intentionally' is the most common offence (134 occurances) >>
3/ The majority of the released life-sentence prisoners, 63%, are members of Fatah, the ruling Palestinian Authority party led by Abu Mazen (president).
Hamas accounts for 25% released, and there’s even one ISIS member on the list.
56% of the prisoners will be deported abroad.>>
🧵 Throughout the war, there have been ongoing discussions about the reliability and content of the casualty lists published by the Gaza Ministry of Health.
These lists are released in large batches, without dates of death or defined criteria for inclusion.
During the war, I collected a few social media reports from palestinians about deaths that were either entirely unrelated or not directly linked to hostilities (accidents, internal killing)
In this short review, I compared some of those cases against the Ministry’s published data to see whether such incidents were included.
This thread highlights 20 such cases I was able to identify. >>
2/ The Gaza Ministry of Health has released 10 casualty lists so far. I used the publicly available versions via @airwars, searched for individuals by full four-part names, and verified metadata where possible. The 20 cases I identified were due to internal Palestinian killing, rocket malfunction, aid crate falls, wall collapses, illness, vehicle incidents and crowd crushes. They included 10 children, 5 men, 3 women, and 2 elderly. >>
3/
Reason: Internal Palestinian Killing:
– Amirah Ahmed Nmar al-Maghrabi (ID: 421146150)
– Siraj al-Deen Hsham Salamuah Shaheen (ID: 802069070)
11 June 2025
Location: Salah al-Deen Road, near the Nuseirat entrance (Al-Bureij/Nuseirat area)
According to the family’s statement, Amirah and Siraj were ambushed and killed in their vehicle by the Sahem (Arrow) Unit of Hamas. The family explicitly holds Hamas and the Gaza Police responsible for the killings.
– Amirah was listed in the Ministry of Health’s 23 June release (List 9)
– Siraj appeared in the 16 July release (List 10)
