There is something seriously wrong with Keir Starmer, and if the Labour Party, don't eject him, their reputation is going to be trashed.

I suppose Starmer thinks that supporting, denying and apologising for genocide is progressive.

You have to look at the whole big picture.
1/
It's not just choosing to hammer the sick and disabled, supporting the horrendous genocidal, murderous behaviour of the Israel regime. But there is rowing back on climate action, and supporting fossil fuel industry greenwash, and far more.
2/
There is locking up peaceful climate activists and giving them long prison sentences, the way he has overseen oppressive action against protestors, protesting against the genocide in Gaza.

Then there is sucking up to Donald Trump and being sycophantic towards him.
3/
Next, we have Starmer trashing our nature and environmental protections, to facilitate house building, by large commercial house builders, and virtually no support for social housing. Refusing to nationalise water companies.
4/
I could go on and on. This policy is the diametric opposite of progressive. When I have challenged people to name any progressive policy Starmer has pursued, the most people can come up with is VAT on school fees.
5/
Aside from the latter, there is virtually nothing to separate Starmer from the previous Tory administration. In fact, the best Starmer can come up with is the Tories were incompetent, and he's going to push through their policy more competently.
6/
Then we come to Starmer's obsession, economic growth, which actually he's not doing too well with. With Orwellian language he tries to sell this as for ordinary people. It primarily benefits the very rich. Trickle-down is a complete lie.

7/
It would be massively long, if I listed all Starmer's policy, which seems to be straight from right wing think tanks and the owners of the Tory Press.

But the thing that stands out most to me, are the Orwellian lies, that he is doing this for the benefit of ordinary people.
8/
Keir Starmer's only apparent political ability, is shamelessly telling bare-faced lies, and not giving a damn about it, working on the principle, that not everyone will see through his lies, and people will swallow it, just because he's the PM.
9/
Previously, the term Red Tories has been used for right wing Labour politicians. But this is a whole next level.

What Starmer is doing, is I argue, far worse than Blair, because of the deceit.
10/
Under Corbyn, when Starmer was deputy leader, Starmer positioned himself as someone who could work with the left, and who was not a right winger. This is all revealed as a complete and utter lie.
11/
I would argue that Keir Starmer is actually a far worse liar than Boris Johnson. Johnson was a buffoonish, and not very good liar, because everyone knew he was a liar. But Starmer pretends to be an honest man, whilst lying through his teeth.
12/
To round up, there is something much bigger. Starmer's is so unlikeable, that he is handing an open goal to Reform. Where in any agenda, is making Reform popular, in the interests of the Labour Party?
13/
Keir Starmer, on the face of it, seems like a right wing mole, parachuted into the Labour Party, to trash its reputation, and implement the nastiest right wing agenda, ever seen in the UK. How did Labour become the shameless nasty party?
14/
This is not hyperbole, or empty rhetoric. Starmer actually seems nastier than most Tory regimes. What is horrific, is the Orwellian way he is selling this as for "working people", stolen from the Tory's "hard working people" slogan.

15/huffingtonpost.co.uk/lord-foulkes/u…
When a Labour PM starts using a slogan, shamelessly stolen from the Tories, where they were trying to convince people, that they were really for ordinary people, you know that there is something seriously rotten about Keir Starmer.
16/
To round up, I cannot think of one redeeming feature of Starmer's regime. Not one iota of real progressive policy. Starmer is just hammering away at the Tory strategy of disingenuously trying to convince people he's doing this for ordinary people, in an Orwellian way.
17/
Keir Starmer is the oligarch's man, who is not merely implementing oligarch policy, but along the way, trashing Labour's reputation, and opening the way for Labour to be replaced by Reform. Stop the denial out of Labour loyalty.
18/
Even worse, is the way Starmer has been inveigling Labour figures like Angela Rayner, into demeaning themselves, by robustly defending his total shitfuckery, to borrow a technical term from @thejuicemedia.

There's a necessity to understand big picture thinking, joined up thinking, the overview.

All the things I've been commenting about, the climate and ecological crisis, politics, the genocide in Gaza, the pursuit of economic growth, neoliberalism, are all highly interlinked.
1/🧵
The interlinking theme, is humanity and social justice. As @GretaThunberg has explained, she is a climate activist, because of the threat to humanity. It is entirely mistaken to see climate activism, as somehow apart from other social justice issues.

2/threadreaderapp.com/thread/1936789…
If we do not urgently address the climate and ecological crisis, it will cause massive impacts, starvation, and the likely collapse of our civilization. This, and other social justice issues, all have one major cause.

"Alexander brushes off criticism of Morgan McSweeney over welfare bill, saying he helped deliver 'historic' election victory"

Let's kill off this myth of the "historic election Victory" which was actually crafted by Rishi Sunak.

1/🧵theguardian.com/politics/live/…
This election victory was by default. The Tories had made themselves very disliked. Polling just before the general election showed no great enthusiasm for Keir Starmer. He just wasn't a Tory, or so people mistakenly thought at the time.
2/
The election wasn't a resounding success for either Keir Starmer or Morgan McSweeney. People wanted the Tories gone, and who else could they vote for?

Any other interpretation is bizarre.

"Billionaires’ wealth surged $6.5tn over past decade, Oxfam reports

Real-terms gains of $33.9tn for world’s richest 1% ‘enough to end annual global poverty 22 times over’"

Just let this sink in. Poverty, is a choice the rich impose on the world.

1/🧵theguardian.com/news/2025/jun/…
Modern shyster politicians (manipulative gaslighters), like the UK PM, Keir Starmer, convince the public with lies, that the vulnerable, such as the sick and disabled have to suffer cuts, because there is no money. What a massive lie.
2/
The very rich pay a fraction of the tax they used to pay. In the 1950s and 1960s, the top tax rate in both the US and the UK, was 95%. Now, billionaires often pay a lower percentage in tax, than nurses. How did this come about?

Just how ironic. After claiming they suspected automated behaviour on my account on Instagram, after appealing they found no breaches of Community Standards.

The irony, is that it is some sort of stupid AI that keeps telling Instagram, that I'm not a human.
1/ Image
Instagram's stupid AI seems incapable of learning from experience. So even though previous appeals, have proved I was a real human being, not breaching Community Standards, it keeps making the same mistake over, and over again.

2/
I'm going to go on a bit of a rant about AI. AI is actually not intelligent at all, it is in fact, very stupid, and always will be. Machine learning is very good at some things, like lots of parallel processes, but it totally lacks human intelligence.

Keir Starmer is quite baffling. He gives every sign of being a puppet taking orders and following them. His policy is totally incoherent and impossible to understand, except it's the talking points of right wing think tanks and the Tory Press.
1/
Often when a politician holds rigidly, to a set of policies, often it is a sign of some sort of deep ideological beliefs. But this is the thing, Starmer doesn't actually seem to have any coherent principles or beliefs.
2/
This has been much commented on, especially in the lead up to the general election, with both the public and political analysts, struggling to work out what Starmer really stands for, if anything. It's no clearer now. He's dogmatic, but it's not clear why.

This was just posted by @GretaThunberg on Instagram. I want to totally endorse this, and I want everyone to get behind this, especially if they are influential and have a platform.

It's gone too far. If you don't get behind this, and claim to care, then you're a poseur.
1/🧵 Image
The reason I say everyone who cares, needs to get behind this, is because #GretaThunberg is the clearest voice there is. This is not about getting behind her as a person, she doesn't want fame or adulation. It is getting behind her message.
2/
No more picking and choosing which issues you care about. Either you care about the whole situation, or you don't really care at all. You think your career, your reputation matters more, then you need to learn and to change your attitude.
