What's next for Gaza? 🧵
After the hostage release, Israel will hold onto a fully depopulated 58% of Gaza.

After an international force enters, Israel will hold onto 40% of Gaza where the IDF's proxy gangs will thrive!

Genocide or reconstruction? The devil is in the details! Image
2\ Right now, the 58% beyond the yellow line is not only under IDF control, it's fully depopulated. Any Gaza civilian that tries to enter is shot on sight. Israel killed 35 Gazans in the first 24 hours of the ceasefire.

Israel is planning to hold onto those areas for a long time Image
3\ Israel's proxy gangs (e.g. Abu Shabab, Husam al-Astal, Ashraf Mansi) are all currently hiding in the 58% of Gaza the IDF is stationed in

Israel cultivated those gangs to create "gated communities" (concentration camps) to push Gazans into.

Now with the ceasefire, Israel is using those gangs to launch attacks on Hamas deep inside Gaza without the IDF having to invade.

This is Israel's way of saying "we're not violating the ceasefire, it's Palestinians killing Palestinians."

Israel will also try to get Gazans to move into those areas with promises of a better life while the other half of Gaza remains reduced to rubble.

4\ Israel conditioned its withdrawal from an additional 18% of Gaza on the creation of an international force on the ground (IDF would still keep 40% of Gaza).

Hamas was okay with a similar force during the Jan-March 2025 ceasefire; an Egyptian-Qatari checkpoint in Netzarim Image
5\ But Israel's Defence Minister made clear today Netanyahu wants the international force to act as a subcontractor of the IDF & go after Hamas tunnels & infrastructure or else the IDF would

This would put the int. force & Hamas on collision course; as the latter would be seen as an occupying power trying to accomplish what Israel failed to do militarily over 24 months of genocide; dismantle Hamas & police Gazans into submissionImage
6\ Israel conditioned the withdrawal to the "security buffer zone" (18% of gaza) on the int. force disarming Hamas

The earlier Trump plan talked only of "decommissioning" Hamas' "offensive weapons" (i.e. rockets/tunnels).

But Netanyahu changed it to "all military, terror & offensive infrastructure" which means fully stripping Hamas & all of Gaza of any weapons, including firearms or even knives, which is an elusive process that would allow Israel to never withdraw. It would also allow Israel to bomb Gaza at will & claim it was neutralising a Hamas cell (like Lebanon).Image
Image
7\ The 58% Israel currently control are Gaza's food basket; almost all agricultural lands are there (most are in the 18% "security buffer zone").

Without those areas, Gazans would be entirely dependant on int. aid indefinitely, people would be overcrowding in half Gaza's area
8\ As Israel freezes the IDF withdrawal lines from Gaza & turns the genocide into a low-intensity campaign, the prospect of Israeli settlers moving in increases dramatically

A thousand settler families are already waiting at Gaza's borders with tents & caravans, ready to move in at the earliest chance.

israelhayom.co.il/news/local/art…Image
9\ Even if Hamas accepts all of Trump's plan unconditionally, in phase 2 of the negotiations, Israel would still retain 40% of Gaza, depopulated & occupied by the IDF, since the plan leaves it to Israel's discretion when & how to withdraw

The vague language on disarmament would allow Israel to claim that, even if Hamas lays down all its weapons, that there are still other smaller factions or terror cells or armed individuals who "pose a threat" to Israel (who's gonna verify those claims? you think Trump would?)

Israel can come up with an infinite amount of pretexts to keep its 40% of Gaza for as long as it wants (& possibly start moving settlers there). If Hamas or any other Palestinian armed factions try to challenge this, they would get all the blame for the collapse of the ceasefire!
10\ In other words, Israel just established a Berlin Wall-like line that is here to stay for long

IDF plans to continue to cultivate criminal gangs there, send them to carry out attacks on the ground while Israel bombs Gaza from air under flimsy pretexts. More aid will enter, but that's about it!

Reconstruction, rebuilding the economy, reopening Gaza to the world are all left to Israel's discretion

The agreed phase 1 of the plan currently talks about allowing temporary housing solutions (e.g. caravans, tents) & reconstructing hospitals & bakeries, but not the 92% of homes that have been destroyed.

This plan is significantly better than previous Trump proposals (e.g. no ethnic cleansing, abolishing GHF, no occupation or annexation, decommissioning not disarmament...)

Yet it's filled with negatives, explosive mines & loopholes that'd allow Netanyahu to occupy Gaza forever🧵
2\ Positives:
The infamous GHF would be abolished since the plan says aid will only be distributed by groups "not associated in any manner with either party" (GHF is an IDF front).

Full suspension of "all military operations" (e.g. bombing) & immediate end to the war
3\ Trump's plan now talks about decommissioning instead of disarmament. There's a major difference; the latter connotes surrender, whereas decommissioning is gradual, tied to a political process & includes reintegration of militants into security sector

🚨🚨Israel created a new proxy gang run by a fugitive murderer, drug dealer, fraudster & longtime collaborator Husam Abdel-Majid Al-Astal

This gang is currently based in Khan Younis as an extension of Israel's ISIS-linked Abu Shabab gang in Rafah🧵 Image
Image
2\ Al-Astal is an disgraced former member of the Palestinian Authority's security forces

He's responsible for the murder of Fadi Al-Batsh in Malaysia in 2018 on behalf of Israel

He fled to Egypt after & was apprehended there & deported to Gaza in 2022 on fraud & drug-related offences
3\ Al-Astal was detained in Gaza upon his deportation from Egypt in 2022

Interrogations revealed he's been collaborating with Israel since 1996 & carried out a number of operations on their orders

His neighbours corroborated his arrest in Egypt for drugs

🚨Meet Israel's most dystopian weapon used to terrorize Gazans into fleeing south:

APC vehicles repurposed into robotic giant bombs

Israel's army has been swarming Gaza city with those APCs to indiscriminately barrel bomb overcrowded neighbourhoods & create chaos🧵 Image
Image
2\ Since the start of the genocide, Israel has been extensively using those giant robotic bombs intensively all throughout Gaza

They are remote-controlled M113 armored personnel carriers packed with explosives or barrel bombs, sent into an area & detonated from afar Image
3\ Israel has recently tripled its use of robotic explosive APCs against Gaza's civilian population.

Two weeks ago, Israeli soldiers reported hundreds of robotic APCs were moved towards Gaza city

Israel is now using them to blow up homes or busy areas to create panic Image

The US & Israel are the ones who asked Qatar to host Hamas' political (NOT military) leadership to maintain indirect dialogue with them

When Qatar asked Hamas' leadership to leave in Nov 2024 & suspended their office in Doha, Trump asked them to reopen it again & re-host Hamas🧵
2\ Netanyahu just broke this arrangement & bombed Doha to target Hamas negotiators in the midst of their discussion of Trump's latest ceasefire proposal

In March 2025, Netanyahu killed Hamas entire negotiating team in Gaza (e.g. Salah Bardawil, Essam Da'alees, Ismael Barhoum, Abu Obaida al-Jimassi)
3\ Netanyahu killed Hamas' negotiating team inside Gaza in March 2025 while they were discussing Witkoff's proposal to extend the ceasefire

Similarly, Israel killed Hamas' top negotiator Ismael Haniya in July 2024 right after he accepted Biden's ceasefire/prisoner swap proposal

Israel's single most indispensable weapon of genocide (100% funded by the American public)🧵

Texas-made D9 Caterpillar bulldozers

Most of Israel's destruction of Gaza is not done by airstrikes or artillery, but rather by those D9s1

That's why Norway divested from Caterpillar Image
Image
2\ Israelis call D9 bulldozers "the flattener of Gaza"

A single D9 can destroy a whole house in an hour; with greater efficacy & cheaper costs than bombs or airstrikes

Without those D9s, Israel's destruction of Gaza would become slower & more difficult
972mag.com/israel-gaza-to…Image
3\ The flattening of Gaza by Caterpillar D9 bulldozers is carried out by Israeli settlers (especially the terrorist hilltop youth)

The IDF uses multiple contractors, like Uriah Loberbom, Mshek Afar, Libi Construction & Infrastructure

They get paid over $1,500 per destroyed home Image

Last time Israel raided & took over Nasir hospital, they executed doctors, patients, children & elderly after chaining their hands & legs!

Mass graves were discovered when Israel left the area. The atrocity was so shocking, the US demanded answers (that Israel never gave)🧵 Image

2\ Bodies in the mass grave showed gunshot marks in the head & tied hands, some buried in patient gowns, including children. Image

3\ Amongst the bodies discovered in the mass grave was that of a girl whose leg was amputated after being wounded in an Israeli airstrike. Her family says she was still alive at the hospital when Israel raided it Image
