BREAKING:
7 former Jena Griswold staffers just went public. Bullying. Retaliation. ABUSE. NDAs to cover it up.
Jena wants to be Colorado's Attorney General but she is unqualified. If Democrats are serious about workers, we CANNOT allow Jena to move forward as a candidate

Colorado political insiders have known about Griswold's staff abuse for years. Most victims are locked behind NDAs. NDAs she imposed before the practice was banned by law. Let that sink in. 2/x
Reese Edwards, former Director of Gov & Public Affairs under Griswold, is speaking for 6 others who are too afraid to. Why afraid? Because they know what she does to people who cross her. 3/x
From my own experience: I've watched Jena push staff to tears and to quitting. They don't speak out because they fear her and her brother Chris Griswold's retaliation. That's not leadership. That's a threat. 4/x
Per the statement: late-night demands, disappearing-message apps to dodge public records, taxpayer money spent on personal political branding. Senior staff flagged it. She ignored them.
She broke the law. 5/x
The legislature had to pass a law to stop her from spending public funds on self-promotion....
We cannot let someone like this keep climbing the political ladder. 6/x
Last week PWG held my feet to the fire on campaign workers. Good. I deserved it. I was wrong.
Now I'm calling on union leadership to show up for THESE workers the same way. No exceptions.
Jena staffers deserve to be protected and heard. 7/x
As Democrats, we cannot hand the most powerful legal office in Colorado to someone her own senior staff describes as driven purely by self-interest. Enough is enough. 8/x

Just learned that @KatieMarchForCO takes max donations from NRA lobbyists. Can't say I'm surprised.
HD6 Deserves Better.
🧵about: money & corruption in politics, action > words, and a general lack of accountability from Katie March.

Several weeks ago, HD6 community members, including myself, asked @KatieMarchForCO to condemn and return the thousands she received from the people and groups behind the racist attacks on @elisabethepps. She only offered a defensive obfuscation and never returned the money.

Katie March has taken over $10,000 from the Corporate Landlord Lobby. The same lobby that maxes out to Republicans and fought to evict people during the pandemic.
HD6 has one of the highest rates of renters in the state. That means Katie's going against all their interests.
