Recovery of capacity from Saudi Arabia’s east west pipeline which bypasses the Strait of Hormuz. The pipeline’s throughput was down 700k due to attacks, now it’s restored. #OOTT #SaudiaArabia
The kingdom’s production was also impacted by 600kbd… 300k has been restored from Manifa and still 300k is impacted in Khurais. #OOTT

IMPORTANT 🧵: There are headlines coming out now about Aramco is cutting production from a number of fields, and this a CUT in production. This is NOT accurate, according to our understanding. #OOTT #Aramco
The reduction is happening in fields that do not produce Arab light grades which can be exported via the Yanbu terminal. So there is a reallocation of supply that’s happening NOT a CUT. #OOTT
Aramco has been diverting more of its crude via the east west pipeline which bypasses Hormoz, the capacity of the pipeline is 7 million bpd. And loading capacity in Yabnu is around 5.5 million #OOTT

A few things on the opec plus voluntary cuts that under the current agreement expire by the end of Q2. NO DECISION privately or publicly has been made on whether or not the cuts will be extended or not. #OOTT #Opec

Are stocks down? Yes the combination of voluntary and collective cuts by opec plus have created a deficit of around 1 million in q1 and 800k in q2. #OOTT #Opec

Breaking news: Saudi Arabia will implement a voluntary cut of 500 thousand barrels per day from May till the end of 2023 in coordination with some other OPEC and non-OPEC Participating Countries in the Declaration of Cooperation. #OOTT #opec
The UAE will implement a voluntary cut of 144k from May until the end of 2023 #OOTT #opec
The Sultanate of Oman will voluntarily cut 40,000 barrels per day of crude oil from May 2023 until the end of 2023, in coordination with some of the countries participating in the OPEC Plus agreement #OOTT #opec
