With the destruction of the North Crimean Canal Rail Bridge and Damaged Road bridge at Rozdolne Kerch Strait Rail Bridge is now virtually useless. Crimea by Rail is now officially an island.

Last year's rail strike campaign along the line between Tokmak and Volnovakha culminated last fall around late October early November. With this the line has been practically abandoned and satellite imagery from sentinel shows virtually zero use since then to the present as Russia reshifted its rail back from the land bridge to Rail Ferries into Crimea to avoid FPV drones that kept striking trains east of Tokmak.

All 3 active Rail Ferries have once again been struck and put out of action forcing Russian Rail no choice but to use the Kerch Bridge though now if they do the trains can't get past Rozdolne cutting rail service to the rest of Crimea and the front lines.

Any train that does cross will have to unload it's cargo at likely Vladislavovka or Feodosia then do a bunch of switching to have the train leave Crimea to kept the yards open.

Problem with this method is the same Russian forces faced last June when they announced shifting the land bridge which is that this method is also completely now within range of drones and will be attacked meaning it's not safe.

There is nothing preventing the Russians from resuming rail operations along the land bridge from Volnovakha to Tokmak though this route is extremely dangerous well within striking range and is single track so if a train gets blown up whole line is shut down till it's cleared and anything that does try to traverse this route will be struck as was seen repeatedly last year and the now dozens of tractor trailers along the coast that keep getting blown up on a daily basis since May.

Repair and resumption of traffic of the road and rail bridges at Rozdolne is critical to Russian war efforts in supplying occupied Crimea, Kherson and Zaporizhia question is how many resources is Russia willing to lose to repair these bridges since they're just going to be attacked repeatedly by Ukraine and can they fix and get the bridges back in operation before Frontline units crack from supply issues and civil unrest from local populace stuck with dwindling options and fuel to get off the now island of Crimea.

What a great idea! Let's have a bunch of civilian cars with 200 Liters of fuel a piece that definitely won't be confiscated for the military sitting on the vulnerable bridge.

Thread from last year explaining the shifting logistics of the land bridge prior to the ferries resuming operation.

For the Russians in Crimea, the clock is ticking you best be preparing for Evacuation Day of the Crimea like the White Army before you in 1920. Image
Not long till Kerch is the only physical way in or out of Crimea.

Oh Mr. Wall Street journal, France has a very interesting nuclear doctrine derived from their kind of a religion that developed in the 1950s after a book called the Radiance of France was published. That doctrine hasn't really changed. France will fire a nuclear warning shot and if that is insufficient to achieve the desired results for France, they will expend the entire nuclear stockpile oh, and they're not going after enemy nuclear capabilities. All of their nukes are designed to go at civilian population centers. It's not about France winning a nuclear war. It's about you losing it. Then they will find redemption and salvation for obliterating civilian population centers in the atomic waste land.Image

Image
The warning shot is also to target a enemy civilian population center and wipe it off the face of the Earth. That's the warning
Literally every other nuclear doctrine goes like this. We will use a nuke if fired on. We all agree we will target each other's nuclear infrastructure first and the remaining nukes afterwards can go after enemy, government, infrastructure, manufacturing and population centers.

France stands alone in the doctrine of fire all nukes exclusively at population centers who cares about nuking the enemy's nuclear infrastructure. Everything will be a wasteland.

USS Defiant (BBG-1) (not a battleship actually is a good design despite the crude paintings.

The Trump Class Guided Missile Battleship or better called a Strike Cruiser is a good replacement for the Ticonderoga for a high-end fight.

Interestingly, this vessel shares a lot of comparisons with the original design of the Ticonderoga.
You can read more about that original design below

It also address a huge gap that the US Navy has had since retirement of the Iowa Class Battleships NAVAL SURFACE FIRE SUPPORT (NSFS) a sorely needed capability currently extremely lacking with the Arleigh Burke's. This vessel under its current design at least gets the US Navy to finally meet the bare minimum requirements that the Marine Corps have had in place for decades which is guns that can fire between 41-63nm, but has revised this request upwards to 200 nm for naval surface fire support in the future. The railgun and the two 5 inch guns with Hyper Velocity Projectiles will finally give the Navy/Marines a platform that can actually meet the needs for NSFS though these are not perfect which I will link to two articles that get further into this below.
Great 2 part article on the Naval Surface Fire Support below part 1.

Part 2.

Another plus of this design is survivability coming from its sheer tonnage and up to 6 in of armor. Combin with its speed of over 30 knots will allow it to act as a goalkeeper for a carrier strike group and defend against large attacks from both drones and anti-ship cruise missiles due to the large VLS magazine depths, 2x 300 kilowatt direct energy weapons (like Lockheed Valkyrie system) on top of point defense systems.

Lastly we have the price $4 billion a ship of this size with this loadout is actually not bad. Why don't we just build more Burke's well the flight 3 already cost close to 3 Billion a ship with half the capabilities and we need other classes of ships, not just a fleet of aircraft carriers and souped up destroyers. The Burke cannot do everything nor should it. It needs to be complimented by other ships.

I'm also sure has this project goes further down the line. We will see things changed and something that will continue to complement continue to compliment the Burke's and continue the high-low mix strategy by Admiral Zumwalt

No they didn't they literally discussed this last November in Vienna with the middle route corridor also known as the Trans Carpathia international transport route all part of the China Europe railway Express also known as the one belt. One road initiative also known as European silk road.

They specifically discussed in Vienna last year of expanding the middle corridor to bypass Russia and Belarus by going from central Asia to Turkey, Ukraine, Romania and, Bulgaria before continuing into Europe.Image

Ukraine failed drone attack on a fuel train at the Tatsinskaya station. The drone was shot down by the air defense system, fell near the station, and burned nearby.

Also, local residents observed more than 10 explosions from the air defense system over Millerovo, Belaya Kalitva, and Chertkovo.

Ukraine is really stepping up attacks on the Russian Rear to disrupt Russians supplies to the Southern Front.

Can see the debris light some brush on fire and tank cars intact Image
Update additional drones were sent an hour after the first drone failed and the railyard was struck while switching tank cars and grain cars and the reports now say dozens of UAVs were intercepted

🧐🧐 Oh Hezbollah, IRGC operatives operating with SMC well, there is one group in particular that stands out. The Islamic Resistance Front in Syria (IRFS) which was created back in January from SAA/Hezbollah/IRGC remnants in southern Syria after the fall of Assad and have not been targeted by SMC, STG, nor IDF

This also begs the question why the Israelis have not been bombing these weapon depots that are clear targets under what Israel has publicly said which is the demilitarization of Southern Syria and it also shows that there is still operational supply lines from Iran to Suwayda to Lebanon and the Syrian Coast.
There was one raid earlier in the year in Suwayda that had previously interdicted a shipment of Iranian weapons through SMC territory by the STG. Otherwise I haven't seen much actions taken previously.
From the previous raid it was shown that the SMC was receiving Iranian weapons and now we have today's weapon Depot captured which shows more Iranian weapons. So question is why is the SMC allowed to receive Iranian weapon shipments while at the same time getting Israeli weapon shipments

10 Billion dollars worth of equipment in a single aid package. Bidens largest single package was 6 billion.
17 Patriots are to be included though I doubt this is 17 Batteries and may be referring to launchers and may be the 3 Batteries talked about last week which according to the reports will be arriving to Ukraine in days.

Using standard 6-launcher batteries this would be 2 full batteries and one 4 launcher battery with 1 launcher to spare or could be equal to four batteries with 4 launchers each.

Also, to all the doomers out there, these direct foreign military sales do not require Congressional approval or the petty squabblings of politicians on the hill and a foreign military sale typically does not have the same end user restrictions and strings attached that you would find in a presidential drawdown authority and you also cannot just cancel them on a whim because the day of the week ends in the letter y. Can also sell this as a win to the isolationist and say America is making money off this. The taxpayer is not being sucked dry the Europeans are doing their part to increase military spending just like you wanted.
