AIPAC commends the U.S. Congress for including significant pro-Israel provisions in the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) for Fiscal Year (FY) 2023. These critical provisions will help Israel protect itself against continuing security threats. The bipartisan defense measure authorizes $500 million in FY 2023 for U.S.-Israel missile defense cooperation. This includes funds for Israeli procurement of Iron Dome, David’s Sling, and Arrow and for bilateral research, development, test, and evaluation.

J Street says it's a "false accusation" to call Rep. Ilhan Omar anti-Israel.

A false accusation?

J Street is defending one of the most vocal anti-Israel critics in Congress.

@jstreetdotorg is many things, but it's not pro-Israel.

jstreet.org/press-releases… Image Ilhan Omar supports the global BDS campaign to isolate and demonize Israel.

Yet J Street says Ilhan Omar is not anti-Israel.

J Street stands with a top Congressional champion for BDS.

@jstreetdotorg is many things, but it's not pro-Israel.

The UN #DurbanIV conference is a cesspool of discriminatory, anti-Israel propaganda.

“Zionism=Racism" is a vicious slander against the Jewish state and its supporters.

America and many allies stand proudly with Israel in boycotting this despicable conference. Thank you @POTUS and @SecBlinken @StateDept for refusing to participate in the anti-Israel #DurbanIV conference.

🇺🇸🇮🇱 A strong Israel makes America more secure.

Today, vital funding for Iron Dome and U.S.-Israel cooperation on missile defense, anti-tunnel technology, and counter-drone technology was approved by the House Appropriations Committee in its annual @DeptofDefense funding bill. Bipartisan leaders in Congress and the Biden admin came together to strengthen and expand the U.S.-Israel relationship.

We applaud the work of @BettyMcCollum04 @KenCalvert @rosadelauro @RepKayGranger @AppropsDems @HouseAppropsGOP to secure funding for these pro-Israel programs:

Why are those in Congress who claim to support Palestinian rights silent when the Palestinian Authority denies Palestinians’ rights?

Do they only speak out if they can blame Israel?

We oppose @BettyMcCollum04’s latest anti-Israel bill, which would condition aid to Israel, undermine U.S. interests and make peace less likely.

We agree with @POTUS @JoeBiden: Cuts or conditions on aid to Israel would be "irresponsible," "outrageous" and a "gigantic mistake." Congress endorsed @POTUS44’s 10yr commitment to Israel of full security assistance without added political restrictions. This policy has broad bipartisan support & is good for America.

Congress must reject Rep. McCollum's attempt to reverse this long-standing bipartisan policy.

AIPAC opposes the @ChrisVanHollen amendment that politicizes U.S. support for Israel's security. This amendment contradicts the Obama-@JoeBiden MOU and goes far beyond current law in ways that damage American interests, risk Israel's security, and make peace less likely. Despite some policy disagreements with Israel, President Obama increased America's security commitment to Israel, and his MOU had no political restrictions.

As @JoeBiden said, it would be a "gigantic mistake" and “absolutely outrageous” to condition or leverage security aid.

AIPAC opposes the letter being circulated by @RepAOC—cosigned by @RepJayapal, @RepRashida & @BettyMcCollum04—which explicitly threatens the U.S.-Israel relationship in ways that would damage American interests, risk the security of Israel & make a two-state solution less likely. The letter rejects President Obama’s security assistance commitment to Israel (MOU). Dems and Reps in Congress agree the MOU is in America’s interest and is a key pillar of our security strategy in the region. Congress must continue to fully implement the Obama-@JoeBiden MOU.
