Thread about my experience with the virus and ivermectin recently. It was quite a non-event because my husband and I got rid of the virus fast, but some people may find it useful. It’s a given that you should consult your own doctor for treatment. One morning a few weeks ago, my husband woke up with body ache and felt like he may be getting a fever. He immediately took ivermectin, zinc, quercetin, vitamin C, and high dose Vitamin D. The next day, he was fine except for loss of smell. That returned after a week.

While I was in #Odisha, it was fascinating to spend time with the potters of Goudaguda village in #Koraput. There are about 20-30 potters in the colony and it’s possible to watch them at work. This is the start of the #pottery process, mixing up the clay. This makes it easy to pick up the clay.

The #RathaJatra festival is being celebrated at the Jagannath temple in Puri, Odisha today. For those who want to learn more about the temple's heritage and how it functions, @GrassRoutesJnys conducts an insightful immersive tour of the Old City around it: grassroutesjourneys.com/html/tour_puri… One of the highlights is visiting the potters colony, which provides about 15,000 new clay pots to the temple every day. They're used for cooking the 56 different dishes that are offered as holy food to the deity and later sold to devotees as mahaprasad.
