1/ Today, 4 May 2025, the Israeli military dismissed Adalah’s legal objection to demolishing over 105 buildings in the #Tulkarem and #NurShams refugee camps, claiming the camps are now a “combat zone” and justifying demolitions under the guise of “military necessity.” This extensive destruction of property is a blatant violation of international law. 2/ According to the military, the presence of “terror infrastructure” in the camps transforms the entire area into a combat environment. This logic erases the distinction between civilians and combatants, treating every structure and resident as a legitimate military target – contrary to int’l law.

An Israeli court approved the forced displacement of all 500 residents of Ras Jrabah, a historical Bedouin village, to expand the Jewish city Dimona, which was built on their ancestral land.
