This has to be the most corrupt 🚲land grab in DC history. They want to remove parking & at least one travel lane on Conn Ave, even though the data shows that there are 50,000% more daily 🚘 than 🚴‍♂️ in NON-WINTER months.

All for two 🚴‍♂️ crashes per YEAR on Ward 3’s busiest road. ImageImageImageImage Let’s #GetToKnowYourANC on this project. David recognizes how unpopular removing parking from his district will be, but pushes for it anyway cuz he loves to ride his 🚲. Last month, the best known DC-specific magazine reached out to ME for a story! At first, I was excited to have a way to reach over 100k sets of eyes at once. Still, I had my suspicions...

My doubts doubled when I scrolled down slightly on the journalist’s Twitter feed... #Thread ImageImage But how could I turn down the chance at this opp? So, I diligently answered the reporter’s initial questions. Then I answered the followups. Then silence.

Eventually, he replied to me. The article is on an indefinite hold. 🤔

This is THE smoking gun that shows how corrupt the 🚲 agenda is... AND how govt, the media, the police, and 🚴‍♂️ are all complicit in pushing lies that strip away the rights of normal citizens.

READ THE WHOLE THREAD! Image It all started when we noticed that the councilmember who was introducing *emergency legislation* for a 🚲 lane (!) was using a phototweet from 2/21/20 to bolster her argument. To us, it seemed weird to use something where baseline facts (especially fault) weren’t clear for PR.
