Seventy-five years ago today the @RoyalAirForce attacked General Geyr von Schweppenburg's headquarters, located on the grounds of the château at La Caine, in Normandy, France. #DDay75 #BattleofNormandy #Normandy75 #WW2 ImageImageImageImage 2/ British intelligence, mainly the codebreakers at @bletchleypark, managed to pinpoint the location after the headquarters gave its position away: 'Battle Headquarters Panzer Gruppe West evening ninth at La Caine.'
