Some people of materialist disposition are always in a hurry to “debunk” the claim that the universe has been created by a conscious personality.
They are always frantically searching for loopholes in the arguments for God such as the argument from design, cosmological argument and other such arguments. For these individuals the universe must emerge solely from matter.

It is possible to discover God purely through the power of intellect. The philosophers of the theistic Samkhya studied the evolutive nature of prakrti but, more importantly, recognized its limitations. In this manner, they worked their way upwards towards spiritual personality.
