Here's what it means if we have a 51-49 Senate ⬇️
1. Committee power. In a 50-50 Senate, we govern with a power share agreement, where Committees have an equal number of Democrats & Republicans. That means nominees (like judges) can deadlock and cost floor time to break ties. No ties = faster legislative & confirmation process.
