Pennsylvanians deserve to have their voices heard, and the worth of someone’s vote is not determined by how long it takes to be counted. Currently, our election officials are working through the same process they follow every election.

Our Senate race’s slim margin has drawn attention to this year’s process, but it is going as planned and — no matter how long it takes — is fundamental to our democracy.
