Any fool can become more conservative as they age, any fool. But to become more liberal, now that takes a lot of wisdom...and courage.

1) On the last day of the Battle of Gettysburg, July 3, 1863, Gen. Robert E. Lee ordered a frontal assault on the Federal "center," which became known as "Picket's Charge." The actual battle began premature to plan when a rebel general went looking for shoes in the town of...more 2) Gettysburg. Many of Lee's forces were barefoot, including men in Picket's ill-fated charge, where 50% casualties were experienced. These barefoot rebels were fighting for the "cause." The North was not going to impose their laws, including laws against slavery on them...

1) Trust me to tell my grandchildren, and if I am lucky, my great-grandchildren, that 20 years into the 21st century, America was populated with science-ignorant, fearful, hateful & easily manipulated people. So many in fact, it resulted in the unnecessay death of over 1-million- 2) Americans. That hate and ignorance effectively sidelined our public health resources from helping the rest of the world and emboldened fascist leaders around the world to emulate us. The result...millions more dead. Fascism kills. IT ALWAYS KILLS.

1) I am going to do my level best here on Twitter and elsewhere as possible, to help Justice Rebecca Bradley, Wisconsin Supreme Court Justice make herself infamous. This week, she offered a confirming opinion in the 4-3 ruling that the Wisconsin Governor's efforts to.... 2) extend the stay-at-home order to protect the State's citizens, was comparable to efforts of the Federal Government's internment (lock up in remote concentrations camps) of 120,000 Japanese Americans in 1941 which lasted 3 yrs. and 11 mos. 1) THREAD: Good early morning. For well over a 1000 days now I have tweeted the call for Trump's resignation and later his removal from office. I have managed to do so while traveling on 3-continents, often from wildernesses, & even 5-nights with the help of friends while at sea.
2) It began as a challenge to myself to join the #Resistance after I decided not to withdraw and just check out as I watched the lynching of HRC's character, the mockery of her public service which spanned my lifetime and the ascendancy of a mad fascist to the Presidency...

1) Fellow citizens I need your help. Today on Colorado Public Radio, a man named Andy Williams who owns "Medicine Man", a recreational marijuana business in the greater Denver metro has threatened to back Republican Senator Cory Gardner if the Democrats nominate former governor..
2)...John Hickenlooper because the Governor struggled early on with his position on recreational marijuana. If that is Mr. Williams sole consideration for supporting Mr. Gardner who has voted with Trump, the Koch Brothers and is one of the largest recipients of NRA money...

1) I beg of you all, please put this impeachment in the context of what it means in human suffering. On July 17, 2014 Putin's Russian 5th column operating in the Ukraine shot down Malaysia Flight 317. 298 men, women and children died. Russia = Ukraine's implacable enemy. 2) The U.S. has given Ukraine's military $1.4 B in military support since (a fraction of what it gives Israel yearly) even while Russian is arming the Taliban as I tweet this. 2 months ago the Congress authorized an additional $400 M in arms to be provided to Ukraine.

2) In Grant County, Kentucky, home of the "Ark Encounter" featuring dinosaurs 2X2 on Noah's life size reconstructed Ark which was funded by $80 M in government approved bonds, teacher salaries are 23% below the national average.

1) So the NRA is suing its own President Oliver North for double dipping on his salary. He is paid handsomely by the NRA, and its Ad Agency for 30 years. Wayne LaPierre, NRA CEO also claims North is black mailing him over sex harassment claims, clothing expenditures, etc. 2) Both LaPierre and North earn over a $1M a year and LaPierre earned $5M in 2015. Now take it easy boys. There is plenty of mother's milk coming from the sucker members of the NRA and you don't have to fight over teats. Just keep sucking and let bygones be bygones?

1)Thread: I have been tweeting daily since April of 2017 calling for the resignation of Donald J. Trump. It has been a challenge because of my travels often to remote places but many of you have met my humble request & retweeted the same call. Thank you all ever so much.
2) But now it is time to do more. Economic boycotts work. We don't have to beat our chests and scream about it. We just have to alter our lifestyle and as a former CEO I can tell you any impact on the bottom line from a boycott matters.

Meet Bryan Melchior and Sam Robinson of the Utah Gun Exchange. These two men from Utah traveling in their pretend military vehicle are stalking the Parkland, FLA Students who are in turn traveling the country trying to gather support for sensible gun laws.
They also own the Utah Gun Exchange which makes it easier for people to purchase assault weapons on-line without passing a background check. Their tactics of intimidation aren't working of course and they are representative of many people in the great State of Utah.
