Now that everyone has heard of #COVID19#coronavirus, and the clickbaiters, sensationalists, and wagon jumpers have managed to scare the crap out of people;
let's talk about some of the 'positives' of this virus-- things that make it 'less bad':
First though, a caveat:
We *KNOW* almost nothing about the characteristics of this virus.
What we do know will be determined from primary source data, using established scientific methods, by researchers and scientists.
Not by Twitter warriors like me.

Words cannot describe how CRAZY this is;
In my life's experience, the only thing I compare it to is the Dotcom bubble.
The Shenzhen stock market 1 week and one month:
Shenzen is on lockdown.
Remember the start with a penny and double it every day riddle?
In one week, youd have $1.28
In one month though, you'd have over $5 million.
Remember this when looking at the statistics on the Corona virus.
To be clear, this is not an accurate representation of the math- it's not doubling every day.
But it is growing logarithmically. If the Chinese numbers can be trusted, what is 7 or 8 thousand cases now, could hit 100,000 in ~10 days, then 1million cases in ~20 days.

It blows my mind the degree to which the term 'Socialism' is considered a perjorative in the US, even with many Democrats.
It is a decades long smear campaign by Republicans; a holdover from the Cold War and McCarthyism, with no basis in fact.
The rest of Western Democracy would be considered more 'socialist' than America.
It didn't turn us into Commies.
Our social welfare state didn't bankrupt us and destroy our economy.
Really, all it has managed to do is make our citizens live longer, happier, healthier lives.

Bold Prediction: By 2022, Climate Change will be the only thing discussed at the #G20Summit
Within 3 years, we'll realize the goals of the #ParisAccords were like putting a Band-Aid on an amputation.
Here's why:
The whole concept of limiting Global Warming to 2°C by 2100 is predicated on a graph looking something like this:
