1- Today, the UN released its synthesis report on countries’ climate plans (including the one 🇨🇦 submitted) & how far they go towards achieving the Paris goal to limit warming to 1.5°C.

2- The @IPCC_CH says the world needs to cut emissions by 45% this decade from 2010 levels to achieve 1.5.
With the plans (called nationally determined contributions, or NDCs) submitted so far, we're on track for a devastating 2.7°C warming by the end of the century.
