Hearing from a few folks in #bced classrooms. Sick kids coming to school, exposing staff and students. When Fraser Health/VCH/admin is contacted they find out that if the student tests positive for #COVIDー19, most (if not all) in the school will *not* be told at all. 1/ Staff members already choosing to self isolate from family. Esp where family is vulnerable due to age or health. This is making mental health worse. Trying to wrap my head around the thinking behind not letting staff, families, & students know about confirmed cases in a school 2/
