1/n Read the room. When the U.S. finally makes a DLT-based CBDC, they will likely use #Chainlink as the oracle solution.
It's not hard to imagine a Fed DON built on @Chainlink's framework. Rolling out their own solution makes no sense. CL is a malleable framework for all to use.
#Chainlink isn't inking up world class academics and heavy weights like @ericschmidt for nothing.
They're going to need some firepower behind them to convince the fed this is what you'll want to use for your oracle solution and these people have the clout and pull to do that.

Long thread. Random thoughts from CRP:
Everyone is down on $LINK, but should you be? In reality, the team has insane runway, CCIP and OCR2 should be out soon, whales are adding, staking is still on the way and this is all while 1000+ integrations keep rolling in daily.
Chainlink isn't going anywhere. If you believe in a future where smart contracts are important, you have to realize how indispensable of a role $LINK will play in that regardless of which L1s or L2s pop off.
