It’s hard to fit a discussion of a 13-page article into 280 characters, so here is a thread 🧵 @Mohsen_Seddigh @JKal Babstock did not say the cause of action would not satisfy the aims of that particular class action (ie behaviour modification), but that it would not satisfy the normative aims of class actions in general (which the court implied was compensation over behaviour modification)

@dougdowney has approved changes to the Rules of Civil Procedure, to come into force on January 1, 2021. I summarize the major/substantive changes in this thread. #lawtwitter Rules 1.08 & 1.08.1 (tele/videoconferences) are revoked & replaced with a new Rule 1.08 requiring a party seeking hearing to specify method of hearing (in person, tele/videoconference). This doesn’t include ONCA.
